Billy Boy
The Hi-Boys Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Uhh

Billy-Boy in the house

Brr

Oh yeah!

Loa är bäst

They really rock up this old old standard. Sort of for teenagers. Great harmony and tight beat. This will change how I recall it. Bit like Danny Boy but not so furious. Just nice and rocking

I had no idea, Charles, that Mala was even releasing records as early as 1959. I also discovered that the commercial release of this first single was on a red label which I'd never seen before (only the later blue). Thanks for the education. I am wondering if the co-writer was the great songwriter, Luther Dixon, composer of so many hits in the 1950's and 1960's.
