"If you are looking for something fresh, you found it. The Irish Front's latest release not only has perfectly executed face splattering grind, but beautiful ambient master-pieces, spicy salsa with female jazz vocalists, gangster beats with a hood ass rapper, and not to mention one of the members actually shits his pants on the record, and much much more adventurous takes on musicianship! Once again, this is a breath of tasty fresh air in music, one that you have to experience for yourself!"
The band's first ever tour was a week long advancement with Carnifex within California and Arizona. The Irish Front split in 2010.
The final lineup of The Irish Front was:
• Cameron Martin - vocals
• David Lee Crow - vocals
• Josh Ellis - bass
• Alex Huizar - guitar
• Brian Lopez - drums
Previous members before this final lineup is difficult to recollect. As far as what's concerned, the band have only had their bass position changed throughout the time when they were a band. As stated from the band in an interview: "Our bass spot is kinda cursed, while everyone else is original members, we have had around 9 bassists."
Wasp
The Irish Front Lyrics

The lawyers are at bay
And they have been impregnated
By sharks
Reaching into the cradel
Calling for sea sections
Weve been there and done that!
We sent our men across the river
And they were yet be turned
From whence they came
And they returned listless and legless
The natives are restless!
The Irish Front's song Wasp is a perfect example of the band's unapologetic playfulness and experimentation with their hardcore punk sound. The lyrics of the song may come across as nonsensical at first glance but upon further analysis, it's clear that the song is a commentary on the corruption and power struggles of the legal system. The song paints a picture of a town (or perhaps a broader society) where the lawyers have become infested with sharks, symbolizing their greed and willingness to do whatever it takes to win. The mention of sea sections is a reference to the legal term "C-section" - this could indicate that rather than acting in the best interests of their clients, the lawyers are opting for quick and often dangerous surgical procedures instead of taking the time to consider alternative solutions.
The lyrics take an ominous turn with the metaphor of insects swarming - this could represent the general public rising up against the corrupt legal system or could even indicate a more literal infestation of vermin. The sense of chaos and unease is heightened with the line "We've been there and done that!", as though the singer is weary of this ongoing cycle of corruption and sees no end in sight. The use of the phrase "listless and legless" to describe the men who were sent across the river to fight is both chilling and comical - it's unclear if this is meant to be taken literally or if it's a commentary on the futility of fighting back against a corrupt system.
Overall, Wasp is a cleverly crafted piece of social commentary that uses surreal imagery and wordplay to highlight the flaws in the legal system. This is a recurring theme in a lot of The Irish Front's music, and their willingness to push boundaries and experiment with their sound has earned them a dedicated fan base.
