After performing for more than 20 years, the choir became world-famous after being invited to perform at the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
On 19 May 2018, they sang a gospel version of "Stand by Me" by Ben E. King. The conductor, Gibson, was described by the British press as "Britain's godmother of gospel". Their performance of the song topped the U.S. Hot Gospel Songs chart.[5] After the performance, the choir signed a record deal with Sony Music.

Glory to the newborn King
Hail the Heaven born Prince of Peace
Hail the Son of Righteousness
Hark! The herald angels sing
Glory to the newborn King
Peace on Earth and mercy mild
Joyful, all ye nations, rise
Join the triumph of the skies
With angelic host proclaim
Christ is born in Bethlehem
Oh Hark! The herald angels sing
Glory to the newborn King
The newborn King
Hail the Heaven born Prince of Peace
Hail the Son of Righteousness
Life and light to all He brings
Risen with healing in His wings
Mild He lays His Glory by
Born that man no more may die
Born to raise the sons of Earth
Born to give them second birth
Hark! The herald angels sing
Glory to the newborn King
The newborn King
The newborn King
Hark! The angels sing
The newborn
Hark! The angels sing
The newborn King
The newborn King
The Kingdom Choir's rendition of the classic Christmas carol 'Hark! The Herald Angels Sing' is a joyous and celebratory interpretation of the song. The lyrics proclaim the birth of Jesus Christ, the savior of the world, and are full of religious symbolism and metaphors. The initial line 'Hark! The herald angels sing, Glory to the newborn King' urges the listener to pay attention to the angles, who bring the good news of the birth of Christ to earth. The phrase 'Glory to the newborn King' highlights the significance of the birth of the son of God, who will bring peace and salvation to mankind.
The second and third lines of the song, 'Hail the Heaven-born Prince of Peace, Hail the Son of Righteousness,' continue to emphasize the divine nature of Christ and his mission to bring peace to the world. The next two lines, 'Peace on Earth and mercy mild, God and sinners reconciled,' speak of the implications of Christ's birth, which is the bringing together of God and humanity. The song tells how He brings healing and a new life that allows sinners to be reconciled with God.
The final verse speaks of how Jesus Christ will raise the souls of the earth and give them a second birth. The song leaves us with the message, 'Hark! The herald angels sing, Glory to the newborn King, The newborn King, The newborn King.' This reminds the listeners that Christ has come to earth as a human being, which gives hope to the world.
