A banda surgiu no ano de 2007, em Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul. O quarteto é composto pelo baterista Rafa, a baixista Alice, e os irmãos Matheus e Sarisa nos vocais.
Depois de conquistar o público local, em menos de dois anos de estrada a banda ganhou reconhecimento e projeção nacional. The Kira Justice ganhou os palcos de vários festivais, se apresentando em várias cidades como Pelotas/RS, Florianópolis/SC, Blumenau/SC, Curitiba/PR, Belo Horizonte/MG e São Paulo/SP.
Muitos desses shows são em "eventos de anime", encontros entre fãs de animações japonesas que reúnem milhares de pessoas em suas edições, aonde muitos vão fantasiados de seus personagens favoritos. Além disso, em julho de 2010, a banda foi nomeada via voto popular “melhor banda nacional” pelo Animix Awards, um importante prêmio do segmento.
