Some hurts are so deep they can't be erased; they'll always be a part of us

Dry, they collide with everything I've ever tried to hide
Painful memories can resurface unexpectedly and affect us deeply

And keep inside

There's both finality and potential in a situation

He's stubbornly fighting for what he believes in

But I haven't even spoken
Despite his assertiveness, he still feels unheard
