Moving away from the metal genre The Loveless play very dark, melancholic rock. The band debut was a 3 track demo recorded in 2000, followed by a full length release in 2002 called 'Star Rover'. Due to Kim Larsen's other musical commitments, like his :Of the Wand & The Moon: project the band has taken a long time to record anything new. In fact since the announcement in 2004 that a new album would come in 2005 the official website seems to have come to a complete halt.

@Ballen145 Agreed! The whole CD is chock full of quotable lines. Really inspirational to those who are writers at heart!

Awesome song!

SilentLaughter8 Thanks for the reply. Candy and all of Jonathan's bands will always be my favorites. Funny that Jonathan now manages one of my favorite artist these days.

Same here re: wanting a Butch/JD co-write or Butch covering a Candy/Loveless song. Thanks for writing! Sorry for the late reply. Youtube does a horrible job updating me of posts like yours (or I just need to change my settings somehow). Um...I don't remember too much from my convo. Over a decade ago. Plus I get so frustratingly starstruck & nervous when talking to people like Butch that I admire so much. I kind of half listen and half worry they don't think I'm a total mushmouthed loser lol Anyway, I think he said it was a cool idea, but JD is apparently completely out of the creative side of the biz these days :-/ But hey, there's always the chance I'm remembering wrong, or things have changed, so don't lose hope :-)

SilentLaughter8 what did Butch say to writing with Jonathan? I always thought that would be great or for Butch to cover a Candy/Loveless song.

@jimhetz
That would have been awesome to hear live. Did you ever get to see The Loveless play a show? Sadly I never did as I was in college at the time I got into them and I get the feeling they probably didn't play many shows...maybe a few around NYC. Far from me, a broke college kid lol Lucky people that did get to see them, though...
Oh, and I did write to Jonathan Daniel via e-mail shortly after getting into them, asking how to get his Electric Angels CD, and he wrote back quick and was super nice. Wish The Loveless would reform but I guess JD's too busy making money managing Butch Walker, etc (wish they'd tour together or at least write a song together...which I DID mention to Butch awhile back after a show). Must be nice. Glad to see him living the life...he deserves it :-)

+SilentLaughter8 I was in a band in Los Angeles around 1998-1999 and covered this song as well as three other The Loveless songs in our set lists. Awesome band!

A love Jonathon Daniel as a songwriter!
Whatever Happened To Fun?
I've got the original but sadly there aren't the lyrics... and I lost some words... :-( Where I can find the lyrics?
