One More Try
The Luck Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Getting knocked around just trying to succeed,
So bruised and broken but still up on you're feet,
I know that you've been feeling low, my dear, but you're almost there...

And I understand it's never been so hard,
Working days and nights, it never seems enough
You're tired and weary, that I know, but trust me, you’re not alone
So put your armour on again
Rebuild the castles in your head,
So strong
You're screaming out, you're screaming out
Ready now for one more try, feel the rush, feel alive, so strong
you're screaming out you're screaming out for one more try, one more try.

You gotta listen hard to people who believe
And disregard the rest - you need to breathe,
You're digging deep inside your soul, for all, that you can be...

So put your armour on again
Rebuild the castles in your head,
So strong
You're screaming out, you're screaming out
Ready now for one more try, feel the rush, feel alive, so strong
you're screaming out you're screaming out for one more try, one more try.

I know you’re fighting now, and you’re screaming out, you’re screaming out
Just know, how you make us proud

So put your armour on again
Rebuild the castles in your head,
So strong
You're screaming out, you're screaming out

Ready now for one more try, feel the rush, feel alive, so strong
you're screaming out you're screaming out for one, one more try, one more try.

I too used to listen to certain music during my "black hole" years. Ultimately psychotherapy and later medication pulled me back to the life I had left. Now, age 77, all's well. So don't ever give up; there is help - you just have to ask for it.
