@@jakehadlock8092 Original is by Rodd & the MSR Singers, basically a studio group who played "song poems" (as in "Send us your poems for a free evaluation" followed by "for $100, Nashville's finest musicians will turn your poem into a hit song!"). Weird but lovable stuff. There's a great documentary about this called "Off the Charts" that includes this song.
