Stand By Me
The Magical 50s Lyrics

And the land is dark
And the moon is the only light we'll see
No I won't be afraid
No, I won't be afraid
Just as long as you stand,
stand by me
oh stand by me
Oh stand, stand by me
Stand by me
Stand by me
If the sky, that we look upon
Should tumble and fall
And the mountain should crumble to the sea
I won't cry, I won't cry
No, I won't shed a tear
Just as long as you stand,
stand by me
And darling, darling stand by me,
oh stand by me
oh stand now,
stand by me
stand by me
So darling, darling stand by me,
oh stand by me
Oh stand now, stand by me,
stand by me
Whenever you're in trouble won't you stand
by me
Oh stand by me,
stand by me
stand by me
stand by me
The song "Stand By Me" by The Magical 50s talks about the reassurance and comfort that can be found in the support of a loved one during dark and uncertain times. The lyrics suggest that even in situations where everything seems to be breaking apart, as long as one has the support of someone they love, they can get through anything.
The first verse makes a reference to the night, which is often associated with darkness and fear. However, the singer asserts that they won't be afraid as long as their loved one stands by them. This theme of reassurance is carried on in the chorus which repeatedly asks the loved one to stand by them. The second verse takes the theme of the first and expands upon it, likening the crumbling of the sky and the mountains falling into the sea as a metaphor for life's challenges. Nevertheless, the reassurance of the loved one's support remains constant.
Overall, the lyrics to "Stand By Me" are a message of hope and solidarity, emphasizing the importance of human connection and the support that we can provide each other during difficult times.

When the night has come
It's when darkness descends upon the world
And the land is dark
And everything is cloaked in shadow
And the moon is the only light we'll see
And the only thing illuminating the world is the pale light of the moon
No I won't be afraid
I won't feel scared
No, I won't be afraid
I won't feel fearful
Just as long as you stand,
As long as you are around
stand by me
Offering me support and comfort
If the sky, that we look upon
If the heavens above us
Should tumble and fall
Come crashing down
And the mountain should crumble to the sea
And the mighty mountains turn into nothing and merge with the ocean
I won't cry, I won't cry
I won't weep or shed tears
No, I won't shed a tear
I won't let a single drop of tear roll down from my eyes
Just as long as you stand,
Provided that you are with me
stand by me
Stay by my side
Whenever you're in trouble won't you stand
In times of distress or adverse situations, would you please support
by me
Beside me or with me
So darling, darling stand by me,
So my dear one, please stand beside me
oh stand by me
Just be with me, I need your presence
Oh stand, stand by me
Please put yourself beside me
Stand by me
Support me unconditionally
stand by me
Always be by my side

I was adopted by my father who was African American I was a Caucasian boy. I was bullied all the time because my father and I looked so different but he would always tell me, we may look a little different on the outside but we are all the same it’s not what counts on The outside but what’s inside you as a person that’s where your real worth is .my father was an amazing man I worked hard In all aspects whether it would be school training martial arts self defence.
This man was truly my real father no one could make me feel otherwise.

In 1968 I head Ben E. King sing this song at a small club on the coast of SC. King had a small band of 3 or 4 guys and I can still remember the single violin. The venue was not air conditioned. I was 18. The girl I was with was 17. 52 years later we are still a couple. And I still love the song.
