Read Full Bio ↴**There are known to be at least two artists with the name The Make**
Comprised of Jeff Schneeweis (vocals/guitar), Trevor Sellers (bass), and Sarah Ann (keyboard/vocals/guitar), indie pop rock trio The Make has come out of the gates at full speed. Each having experience under their belt from previous projects (Number One Gun for Jeff & Trevor, See You Soon for Sarah), the group came together in May of 2011 and signed with Suspended Sunrise Recordings in the same month.
Suspended Sunrise Recordings is the brainchild of Green Bay Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers and co-founder Ryan Zachary. What started as a vision in 2009 became a reality when Rodgers heard early demos from The Make and expressed interest in signing the group. The official debuts of The Make and Suspended Sunrise were simultaneous with the creation of the video for the band’s debut single, Get It, and the release of the first single, video and EP (This Box)--all within a mere few weeks of each other. Directed by Sugar Ray bassist Murphy Karges, the Get It video features dancing cops, showgirls, a funky bowling alley setting and a cameo by the MVP himself….a brave combination and the precise recipe for entertainment gold. Within the first month of the video’s release, it got over 38,000 views on YouTube--for a band that was barely three months old.
The Make will join Mayday Parade, We Are the In Crowd, There for Tomorrow, and You Me at Six in Fall of 2011 for The Noise Tour, powered by Journeys (coming to 30 US cities).

The Make Lyrics

Don't be discouraged, oh I realize
It's hard to take courage
In a world full of people
You can lose sight of it all
The darkness inside you
Makes you feel so small
Shining through
And I see your true colors
And that's why I love you
So don't be afraid to let them show your
True colors
True colors are beautiful
Like a rainbow
Show me a smile then
Don't be unhappy can't remember when
I last saw you laughing
If this world makes you crazy
And you've taken all you can bear
Just call me up
'Cause you know I'll be there
And I see your true colors
Shining through
And I see your true colors
And that's why I love you
So don't be afraid to let them show your
True colors
True colors are beautiful
Like a rainbow
If this world makes you crazy
And you've taken all you can bear
Just call me up
'Cause you know I'll be there
And I see your true colors
Shining through
And I see your true colors
And that's why I love you
So don't be afraid to let them show your
True colors
True colors
True colors is shining through
And I see your true colors
And that's why I love you
So don't be afraid to let them show your
True colors
True colors are beautiful
Like a rainbow
