The Mantras’ music is a high-energy collaborative of funk-rock, electronica, metal, and fusion that will shake your knees and rattle your toes. Comprised of guitarist Keith Allen, drummer Justin Loew, keyboard player Justin W. Powell, bassist Brian Tyndall and percussionist Brent Vaughn; the band unified their musical vision in 2005 and has continued to hone their sonic direction and precision show by show. The Mantras continue to impress their peers and win over new fans at every turn with their instrumental prowess, solid lyrics, and unending drive to put on an amazing show every night!

Hailing from Greensboro, North Carolina, the band has been playing to ever-increasing sold out crowds in their home state during 2011, and are experiencing rapid growth into new markets throughout the South, Midwest and North East. In 2011 alone, The Mantras and their members have shared the stage in double-bills and direct support with Umphrey's McGee, Eoto, George Clinton and P-Funk, Kyle Hollingsworth Band, Papadosio, The Werks, Perpetual Groove, Zoogma, Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band, Count M'Butu, and many more.

The Mantras now have the ability to make HQ mutli-track recordings of their live shows available to the public. In 2011 The Mantras began compiling a large archive of HQ live recordings via their new mobile tracking unit, lovingly named R2. Sound engineer Matt Gordon set out to build this archive so that all Mantras Live recordings can be made available to the fans in early 2012. When launched fans will be able to purchase every show recorded by the band from Livedownloads.com. Copies of the night’s show are now available to fans in attendance and for now all recordings are being made available to the fans on the night for FREE.

The Mantras, together with Stanlee Ventures of the famous Camp Barefoot Music and Arts Festival, are proud to present MANTRABASH 2012 June 21st-23rd, at the breathtaking High Country Motorcycle Camp in Ferguson, NC. This festival will include 3 nights of The Mantras, two huge stages, and no overlapping sets! Other acts include Robert Walter Trio, Particle, The Werks, Brothers Past, Yo Mama's Big Fat Booty Band, Josh Phillips Folk Festival, and many others!

I did my mbbs from ukraine.. it took 6 years of hard work to get the degree. When I returned back to india to practice here… i had to clear the indian exam to get registered and to work and if i was not able to clear my 6 years would have gone to waste..

I used to have panic attacks
I was in a depressed state as the exam required my whole 6 years of knowledge and the syllabus was very vast.

But all thanks to krishna and his blessings i cleared my exam with flying colours .. and now i can proudly say I AM A DOCTOR.

It was in between 4:30 to 5:00 am. The headphones were on, i was lying on my bed. my sister was on the way for home so i was waiting for her desperetly but my overthiking mind couldn't stop thinking of the bad things about traveling. But suddenly this mantra started to play and i became so calm. I was in another world while playing this. I prayed for only one time and leave my anxiety on shree krishnas feet. The moment this mantra end i found my sister at front door. Sometimes we try to take every responsibilities on our head but we forgot that god is there for us.....

I am 17 yrs old
Last two years were hell for me as i was forced to choose career of my parents choice and it was true that there was a very little scope in my choice ....so I went in massive depression for 1 and half year but only Krishna came to save me ,in my most difficult time I just used to read Krishna quotes and trust me that only helped me to come out of my depression and now I imagine that whatever happens in my life is Krishna wish bad or good I have given my Life decision to him and trust me sometimes he will make us suffer and sometimes he will give many surprises

I've been working as an educator for the past 4 years. The school has been terrible. I get to work with students whose behaviour is really not possible at all. I deal with a lot of misbehaviour, noisy ,loud, talkative and violent students. They disrespect me and have made my life a living hell. I don't know what to do anymore. I lost 50 pounds ,and trying to put my life in order. I. will succeed , Time and patience, and meditative state. will help me achieving my goals. Today , I started 20min of mediation and low impact stretching . With this wonderful music. I was scared, fears is the biggest obstacle in western civilization. This gets me ready for the day. I thank Krishna for finding the strength within the flow on the path straight to love; Krishna was there. I watched through the fire pit a beautiful man singing and playing the instrument of love. I could have stayed there forever but I decided to leave with my friends that showed me to this magical path. I am so greatful for this path in the woods.
