In the film Kermit the Frog searches for the cast of the original Muppet Show and learns that Fozzie Bear is lead singer of a Muppet tribute band called "The Moopets". The band also includes the Foo Fighter's Dave Grohl on drums, dressed as Animal. Kermit convinces Fozzie to leave the group who then become angry with The Muppets and join forces with oil tycoon Tex Richman who promises to give them the Muppet name if they help him sabotage the Muppet's comeback telethon.
