Thirteen
The Motorhomes Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Someone keep her from the shadows
Fading out and hurting deep inside
Someone keep her from the fire
Burning hot but still her fingers seek

Too weak to weep
Too numb to speak
Too tired to sleep
And even though someone could see she'd still be
far away and out of reach
Too far to reach

Something's wrong she just can't hide it
Spinning around and around inside her veins

Slit them open and it's over
Left for others to try to wash the stains

Too weak to weap
Too numb to speak
Too tired to sleep
And even though someone could see she'd still be
far away and out of reach

No one who cares no one

Overall Meaning

who knows her
Lost in a crowd and barely alive
No one who cares no one who loves her
Living with the pain she just can't survive

The Motorhomes's song Thirteen is a powerful and emotional track that explores the pain and despair of an individual who feels alone and trapped in their own suffering. The lyrics convey a deep sense of isolation and longing for someone to reach out and help them overcome their struggles. The opening verse urges someone to keep the singer from the shadows, as she fades out and hurts deep inside, unable to pull herself out of the darkness that is consuming her.

The lyrics continue to describe the singer's internal struggle, as she is too weak, too numb, and too tired to react to her pain. Even though someone could see her, she would still be far away and out of reach, emphasizing the extent of her loneliness and disconnection from the world around her. The chorus repeats these feelings of helplessness and despair, as the singer feels lost in a crowd with no one to care or love her.

The final verse takes a darker turn, as the singer contemplates the idea of ending her pain by "slitting them open." The lyrics suggest that even in death, the singer would be left behind with the stains of her suffering for others to bear. The song ends on a somber note, emphasizing the deep emotional scars left behind by the singer's pain and emphasizing the importance of reaching out to those who may be struggling in silence.

Jason was smart enough to muffle that woman’s screams with his hand, and wise enough to know he cannot die or risk bodily injury when the RV flipped onto its side. The ultimate- unstoppable killing machine.

@macncheeze Jason had a house fall on him in Friday the 13th new blood. He got up like nothing happened on top of that Tina set him on fire and that should’ve burnt him down into a pile of ash. Yet he lives. The house had exploded! with him inside it and again he keeps coming back lol so I’m pretty sure a broken leg and twisted up arms is the least of Jason’s concern.

MikeFIT

@Dïnø_Ēdits Jason doesn’t have any friends and I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t want to be friends with you anyways lol.

I would be glad if I were a friend of jason who he would not kill

@meatball meatwad The T-1000 would destroy Jason, absolutely would. You put these two on an episode of “ Death battle”- and let them duke it out the T1000 can shape shift itself into whoever it wants, form solid medal object with its limbs into weapons and also Jason wouldn’t know how too stop it being he’s never faced anything like it before.

T-1000 wins hands down.

1:20 "I ain't one of the crowd, I ain't one of the guys. They just avoid me they run and they hide." Those song lyrics suit Jason so well.
