They were originally formed in 2001 as a songwriting partnership with Annette Craze on vocals and music production by Maurice Brown. Their sound was initially Electronic and Dance music oriented with a Funky and Soulful vibe. They released their first 3-song EP called... A Future Craze circa 2003.
Wanting to do more live gigs the band took their sound in a more R&B, Soul and Funk direction. In 2006 and 2007 musicians and songwriters Patrick Robinson and Ruth Patricia Dooley-Higgins joined the band bringing a new vibe and dimension to their live performances. Indicative of this change in style was their Jazz instrumental piece... Darling with Patrick performing live on Rhodes keyboard.
A steady following for the band grew over the intervening years with the final member, songwriter and musician Kat Lariza Alvaro, joining in 2010 to perform on drums and complete the band lineup.
Their first full studio album entitled... Just A. Mad Crazey was originally penned in 2008, but was remixed and remastered to form their first album release of 2012. The album is a blend of Soul, Funk and R&B with hints of Jazz, Latin and Dance.
The band are due to release their second album called... The Club with the first single to be released later in 2015.

Everybody dance now
Give me the music
Give me the music
Everybody dance now
Everybody dance now
Yeah
Yeah
Everybody dance now
Yeah
Yeah
Yeah
Everybody
Here is the dome, back with the bass
The jam is live in effect and I don't waste time
On the mic with a dope rhyme
Jump to the rhythm, jump, jump to the rhythm, jump
And I'm here to combine
Beats and lyrics to make your shake your pants
Take a chance, come on and dance
Guys, grab a girl, don't wait, make her twirl
It's your world and I'm just a squirrel
Tryin' to get a nut to move your butt
To the dance floor, so yo what's up
Hands in the air, come on, say "yeah"
Everybody over here, everybody over there
The crowd is live and I pursue this groove
Party people in the house
Move (let your mind)
Groove (put me on line)
Come on let's sweat, baby
Let the music take control
Let the rhythm move you
Sweat, sweat
Let the music take control
Let the rhythm move you
Everybody dance now
Everybody dance now
Everybody dance now
Pause, take a breath and go for yours
On my command now hit the dance floor
It's gonna make you sweat 'til you bleed
Is that dope enough? Indeed
I paid the price, to control the dice
I'm more precise, to the point I'm nice
The music takes control, your heart and soul
Unfold, your body is free and a whole
Dance till you can't, dance till you can't dance no more
Get on the floor and get raw
Then come back and upside down
Easy now, let me see ya
Move (let your mind)
Groove (put me on line)
The music is my life
Everybody dance now
Everybody dance now
Everybody dance now
Everybody
Come on let's sweat, baby
Let the music take control
Let the rhythm move you
Sweat, sweat
Let the music take control
Let the rhythm move you
The lyrics to The Music of A. Craze's song "Everybody" speak to the darker side of party culture and the consequences that can come with it. The opening lines describe the singer being looked at by those with "glassy eyes," likely indicating that those around them are under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The repetition of the phrase "they're gonna bury me" throughout the song suggests that the singer is aware of the dangers of this environment and the potential for things to spiral out of control.
The second verse touches on the idea of consequences, with the singer regretting not doing their research before getting involved in this lifestyle. They also acknowledge the power of addiction and peer pressure, saying "some people can fake it, but my arms are weak, my hands are shaky, no one's scared of me," indicating a lack of control and agency in their actions.
The chorus brings a note of hope, saying that the singer knows it's darkest before dawn and that they can see clearly now. However, this hope is quickly followed by lyrics about frustration and misunderstanding from those around them, suggesting that the singer is still struggling to break free from this lifestyle.
