Barry Greenway, with his future wife Marie Gordon, and Charles McKay first met in Glasgow, United Kingdom, in 1964. They formed a pop/folk group, (The) New Faces, which eventually released thirteen singles across three different record labels over twelve years. Only one of these (September 1965's 'Never Gonna Love Again') was the only one that managed to enter the U.K. singles chart, hitting #49.
By 1976 only McKay remained and, with two new members, recorded a pair of unsuccessful singles as Mahogany.
