The band slightly evolved away from their raw early sound with their third album, We Kill Computers, and with their 2011 release, Unpersons. Their next two offerings, 2014's Do Not Engage and 2016's Positive Thinking, found them expanding their sound even further with psychedelic rock and rockabilly influences. Both members cite literature and film as huge inspiration for much of their songwriting, especially science fiction and horror genres. These inpirations are also present in their highly stylized music videos, which are often violent and visually striking homages to beloved sci-fi films.

Becky is my sweetheart. I have a photo with her and another with Maya. With Becky, we have our arms around each other. With Maya, we're making faces. That's their characters. I loved getting to know them at Grey Eagle in Asheville in 2014, not long after "Rocket" video was released. I love both of them to death. Maya is the kind of woman you can be assured to have fun with, and Becky is the sensitive one, very gracious. She may show angst on the stage, but she is a very loving person.

I love the The Pack A.D.'s videos, but this one really showcases them as the shredding rock band they are. Maya's driving drums, Becky's growling vocals and guitar. The best rock bands feel dangerous like a fight is about to break out.
