The band released their second full-length album Blessed Are The Bonds in May 2007. This release shows the band expanding into completely new territory, and displays a maturity and cohesiveness that is far beyond their first album. "Blessed Are The Bonds" uses a heavy mixture of string arrangements and alternate instrumentation to further expand the sonic landscape, and is once again set in a conceptual environment with the song titles, lyrics, music, and artwork all contributing to the story.
Like their first album, "Blessed are the Bonds" was offered free of charge, including full artwork and custom packaging. After sending out nearly all 10,000 copies, the band has made the album available as a free download from their website.
The Pax Cecilia originated in Brookville, Pennsylvania, in 2002.

In "The Tomb Song," The Pax Cecilia explores the idea that spirits who remain in this world need a requiem composed for them. This is perhaps because these spirits are still burdened by their pasts and are unable to find the peace that they are seeking. The singer goes on to describe a man who finds himself restless and burdened by his own truths. He turns to sorrow as a way of finding some sort of solace. However, he soon discovers that true peace cannot be found in darkness but instead, in the shadow. The song suggests that by understanding this idea, we can bring definition to freedom and to the divine. We can find a way to connect with the spiritual realm in a way that enables both us and those spirits who are still lingering to find peace. Ultimately, we can use the power of our own vibrations to bring the air to flames.
