Apparently, it happened at Baron Van Swieten's palace, who was a very close friend and patron of Mozart. According to one person who was present at that time, it went so badly that Mozart had to walk out. It's not clear where the real first performance took place.

Actually they're first violin is leasding them with his head. They are really impressive though. I just love them. The way they play it is marvellous.😍
