They started as a duo, with their first gig together being an open mic at a church. The duo became a trio and started playing anything from house parties, to bars, to coffee shops, to open mics. Things started moving fast as the release of 'We Bring Anything to the Table.. Except Tables, We Can't Bring Tables to the Table', garnered unexpected attention. They have continued playing and noticed a growth in their audience throughout the years since.
With a very loyal and supportive fan base, and with their latest record, 'For Today, For Tomorrow, For What Is, For What Could've Been', the group is reaching new heights and new territory that has been seen inconceivable for any Latino coming out of the San Gabriel Valley.
Beach Song

But no one ever leaves this place
You want to go and say
That there will be no other way
Wait I want it
You got it
Forget it
Over my own sweet time
Makes everything seem right
You could see it
Deceive it
You know I
Don′t mean it
You got to comprehend
That there everything's not meant to be
Cause nothing′s ever free
Whatever you don't seem to see
Wait I want it
You got it
Forget it
You said it
Over my own sweet time
Makes everything seem right
You could see it
Decieve it
You know I
Don't mean it
The song "Beach Song" by The Red Pears is a ballad which tackles feelings of frustration and desolation, as the singer yearns to escape from a place that defines them, yet seems impossible to leave. The chorus reflects this sense of frustration, as the repetition of "Wait, I want it" and "You got it" seems to indicate a feeling of helplessness, as if the singer is unable to break free from their current situation. It appears that the place to which the singer refers is a place that is both welcoming and restrictive, perhaps one that has allowed them to develop, yet at the same time something that they need to break free from in order to find their own identity.
The lyrics also suggest that there is a certain degree of ambiguity when it comes to the idea of freedom, as the singer's search for it may not be as simple as just physically going to another place. The lines "That there will be no other way / You got to comprehend / That there everything's not meant to be / Cause nothing′s ever free" suggest that freedom may not always be attainable, and that while change may be necessary, it does come with a cost. Thus, the song seems to convey a sense of longing and frustration for something that is clearly out of reach.
