Talk
The Roadside Crows Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Takes so much outta me
To get a little outta you
And just when I think we’re all good
(Oh)
Can I get some help
Make this make sense
'Cause right now all you’re giving me is silence
When I want to know
What's going on
When everything I say is wrong
'Cause I didn't mean
To end the conversation
And I didn't mean
To tear you down
Well it took so much outta me
I thought I finally got it outta you
When I thought it was over and done
(Oh)
Now we're back again
Feels just like déjà vu
When I'm doing my best
But I get nothing outta you and
I want to know
What's happening
When you go quiet, girl
It does my head in
'Cause I didn't mean
To end the conversation
And I didn't mean
To tear you down
We both know that you mean
Everything to me
We both know it's not okay
Girl don't let me down
'Cause I really need you to come around
I didn't mean
To end the conversation, baby
And I didn't mean (To tear you down)
To tear you down
We both know that you mean (everything) everything to me
We both know that there's
Something you want to say

So
Come on baby, can we talk?

They do talk. I lived in a tent for 2 years and often heard a single crow making astonishing talking noises all by itself. It is nothing like the caws you hear usually. All animals have a language of their own and I believe the wild crow has taken it's speech to another level that we have not yet deciphered.

@Darian Darkkchild ahh maybe. I didnt get to see it. Not sure I've ever seen a raven here in R.I. but maybe I just can't visually identify them that great. We mostly have just crows here.

Darian Darkkchild

Darian Darkkchild

Thoai Ho Quang

The woman who at the end of the video, is so rude, she slaps the crow, forced it to talk.

Darian Darkkchild
