1. The Roosters (ザ・ルースターズ ) was a legendary Japanese rock band, active from 1978 to 1988. Originally, the group mixed punk with rock 'n' roll, but eventually branched out to include elements of gothic rock, post-punk, ska, new wave and folk. In 1999, a tribute album called "Respectable Roosters" was released. Some of the featured artists on the tribute album include Thee Michelle Gun Elephant , The Pillows and Supercar . The band reunited in 2004 to perform at the Fuji Rock festival.
2. The Roosters were a band from Warsaw. At the beginning there were only: Bartek, Toy and Jacek but Faiver joined the band immediately. The Roosters went through several personal changes. For some time Oskar of V/A Team sung as a lead vocalist, Jacek was replaced for approximately year and a half by Janek of Blog 27 and Toy left the band while the spring tour of 2007 for personal reasons. Finally the Roosters settled with Faiver(guitar/vocals), Bartek (guitar/vocals), Dere(bass), Piotrek(drums) . Since then no one left or joined the band. In the early spring of 2007 after signing a record contract with Warsaw City Rockers Records- the Roosters managed to release their début EP Roosters Republic. The Roosters sound is diverse. While trying to achieve an 'American punk' sound, the band was experimenting with genders like ska, pop, hardcore and electro. The Roosters played a lot of shows in Poland, Germany, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Recently the band recorded their début LP Guns Up and signed a record deal with Rockers Publishing. The album will be available in stores all over Poland in February.

Oh Heavy Town

Punch Punch Heavy Day
Oh! My God

Oh! My God

The lyrics to The Roosters' song "Oh! My God" are about a person who has lost their way in life and is struggling to find purpose and happiness. The imagery in the song depicts a bleak and suffocating environment, as the singer is stuck in the subway feeling like they can't even hear the meaning of life anymore. The song also touches on the transience of love, as the singer has been spending time with a woman and knows that the feelings won't last forever. The woman in question is described as turning her face, spitting out her gum, and showing off her pale profile. Despite these fleeting moments of happiness, the singer is still lost and in search of their "oasis" - a place where they can find rest and contentment. The repetition of "Oh! My God" in the chorus suggests a longing for some kind of divine intervention, a need for something greater than themselves to help guide them out of their sense of hopelessness.
Overall, the song is a reflection on the struggles of life and the need for determination and perseverance in the face of adversity. The imagery of the subway and the suffocating environment suggest a sense of confinement and claustrophobia, while the moments of fleeting love provide a glimpse of hope and beauty in an otherwise bleak landscape. The repetition of the chorus suggests a desire for something greater than oneself to intervene and help provide guidance and comfort in times of trouble.
Interpretations of music can vary depending on the listener's personal experiences, but one could interpret "Oh! My God" as a song about the struggles of finding meaning in life and overcoming personal obstacles. It is a reminder that even when life seems overwhelming and hopeless, there is always hope for a better future.

I wonder how many kids these days can appreciate them. so cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

+Rockin' Cat I personally think they're easy to appreciate but sadly their albums are a pain to get because of importation and I want this concert and I don't think it's easy to buy sadly
