1) the 50's R&B group from Harlem,

2) 80's underground metal cover band

3) an indie rock band formed in Reading, England in 2021. Their influences include The Smiths, The Strokes and The Smoking Popes. Their debut single "Nothing Ever Happens Here" released August 8th, 2021 , received 50 airplays from an independent music station in the span of three weeks.

4) Schoolboys was a pre-Icon band featuring Dan Wexler on guitar and David Michael-Philips. Schoolboys released an EP 'Singin' Shoutin' and had a few songs on compilation albums.

Pure magic; yet I believe it wasn't a hit when originally released, this in a world where -- dare I say it? -- negatives so often surpass the positives, this despite the priceless gift of life itself!

So Richard Nader was one of my customers.. He comes in one day and he is looking to fill a card for an upcoming Do Wop show on Long Island. I ask him about the School Boys and tell him this is one of my favorite songs ever. Richard smiles, like a bell went off and he leaves the store. Weeks later I receive two seats for the concert (great seats) and yup the School Boys were in it.. Richard was a class act. Glad I knew him..
