I know the stars can hear us praying
I know you're out there somewhere waiting for our love
For our love
Street lights on dark nights
I wonder where you are
We fight to stay bright
It′s you-ou-ou and I
Up against the night
Oh-oh, it's you-ou-ou and I
Up against the night, up against the night
I know you're out there somewhere waiting
I know the stars can hear us praying
I know you′re out there somewhere waiting for our love
For our love
I know you′re out there somewhere waiting
I know the stars can hear us praying
I know you're out there somewhere waiting for our love
For our love
(Where you are)
(Where you are)
How do we start to take part in a world that we create?
I know it′s hard where we are
But trust me we'll be safe
Oh-oh, it′s you-ou-ou and I
Up against the night
Oh-oh, it's you-ou-ou and I
Up against the night, up against the night
I know you′re out there somewhere waiting
I know the stars can hear us praying
I know you're out there somewhere waiting for our love
For our love
(Where you are)
It's you and I
Up against the night
I know you′re out there somewhere waiting
I know the stars can hear us praying
I know you′re out there somewhere waiting for our love
For our love
For our love
For our love
