The Seatbelts! Lyrics

I think it's time to blow this scene.
Get everybody and their stuff together.
OK, three, two, one let's jam.

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to "Tank!" by The Seatbelts present an anthem of urgency and excitement. The first line establishes a sense of action and determination, as if the singer is ready to leave behind their current situation and embark on something new. This is supported by the next line, which calls for everyone to gather their belongings and prepare to depart. The final line, "Let's jam," solidifies the song's overarching theme of energy and enthusiasm. This phrase could be interpreted literally as a call to play music together, but it could also represent the idea of pursuing something with all one's might and skill - in this case, perhaps a thrilling adventure.

Overall, "Tank!" is a high-energy song that celebrates excitement, determination, and the potential for adventure. The lyrics are simple but effective in conveying the sense of drive and purpose that the music conveys. The song could inspire listeners to take action, to pursue their passions with all their energy, and to embrace the thrill of the unknown.

Why couldn't we just hear what this sounded like rather than dubbing it over with the original?

@tomdrawsstuffs6092

god knows why, man. out of all the things they changed, this is the one thing I would’ve liked a new cover of.

@kevinw6814

This. If it's not the live audio performance, don't call it a live performance. The title of this video is a straight-up lie.

@OG_Mereles

I simply refuse to believe it. It was dubbed right? This is the original OST over a video. Am I crazy or this makes NO sense at all?

@VonSpiegel

@@OG_Mereles It is, man. Such bull*hit!

@technomicah

Wow, what a performance.
Too bad I couldn't hear it!!!

I'm not defending the live action show at all but, i can say that at least the soundtrack is incredibly good.

@jdge439

I honestly really enjoyed it, second watch through.

So to me it feels like they really cared.

I got this Kill Bill vibe from it and then it hit me, ofcourse I did! The anime paid homage often to older movies and the old Kung fu classics. Well, did kill Bill and so does this, that's just kinda how it translates in live action, it's gonna be a little different! Once I had that realization, I settled in and am half way through episode 4 and thoroughly enjoying that it is what it is. An over the top love note to the past.

@SharpDesign

Same composer as the anime

@RuptimusPrime

Well, you should defend it. It's great
