After a long and fearsome night the sun finally rose again to start another day.
The dawn of a new day brings hope after a night of uncertainty and danger.

Did they all make it? Was anyone hurt?
The storyteller wonders about the fate of the quest companions and if there were any casualties.

Siam started searching the area in hope to find all of his friends,
Siam begins a search for his companions, hoping to find everyone safe and sound.

And after a while all of them were found except his old friend Darek.
All of the companions are found except for Darek, leaving Siam worried about his fate.

Getting more and more frustrated,
Siam becomes increasingly agitated as they search for Darek in vain.

Siam and his friends searched the area again and again hoping to find Darek,
The group continues to search for Darek despite little success so far, leaving them increasingly hopeless.

And when they finally found him it seemed like all faith of the travelers were gone.
The discovery of Darek's fate shakes the group's resolve and morale to continue the quest.

Darek had been struck by a battleaxe which ended his life in a very cruel way.
Darek met a gruesome end as a result of a violent attack.

When the warlord came for Kira,
A threat emerged to Kira, one of the companions in the quest.

Darek came for her rescue and together they killed the warlord.
Darek valiantly fought to protect his friend Kira and defeated the enemy.

Unfortunately a troll was waiting behind a tree
A new enemy appeared to the surprise of the companions.

And before Kira could do anything the troll had put his axe in Darek.
Darek is caught off guard by the troll and meets his fate, despite Kira's attempts to intervene.

With the last of his strength
Darek summoned his remaining energy to fight back against his attacker.

He turned around and pushed his sword into the skull of the troll,
In a last act of bravery, Darek managed to strike back against the troll before succumbing to his injuries.

And then fell to the ground never to get up again.
Darek ultimately met his end, leaving behind his grieving companions.

So now it was time to say farewell.
The companions accept Darek's death and must bid farewell to their friend.

Together they lighted the fire that would take Darek to the other side,
The group performs a symbolic ritual to send off Darek's spirit into the afterlife.

To the land of the warriors.
The group believes that their fallen friend has earned a place among the great warriors of legend.

And then Siam said a few words to honor his friend.
Siam speaks from the heart to commemorate Darek and his courage during their quest.

When I started on this quest I had you by my side
Siam reflects on happier times when Darek was still alive and with the group.

And when you traveled by my side I had no fear at all
Darek's presence gave Siam the confidence to face any challenge during their journey.

But now when you have left this world I feel I'm out of strength
Darek's death has left a void in Siam's heart, draining him of his resolve to continue the quest.

I feel that something's missing me, I've lost my dearest friend
Darek's passing has left Siam feeling empty, having lost a dear friend and companion.

But hear my words I promise thee, as you walk to the other side
Siam speaks to Darek's spirit, offering a heartfelt promise even in death.

Your bravery has not been in vain, I promise you my friend
Siam declares that Darek's sacrifice and heroism will not be forgotten, and that his memory will serve as an inspiration for the rest of the quest.

So make this journey without me, take your place among the gods
Siam acknowledges that Darek's spirit will not be left alone and will be guided safely to the afterlife.

I try to stay strong and believe in the words, of eternity
Siam tries to maintain his resolve in the face of the death of a friend and the uncertainty of their continuing journey.

I hope the fire treats you good, and the smoke will show you home.
Siam wishes for the best for Darek's afterlife and believes that the accompanying rituals will aid him in his journey.

I try not to cry, I try in your honor, I'll be strong for thee
Siam is filled with sorrow but tries to remain strong for Darek, honoring his memory with his resilience.

But hear my words I promise thee as you walk to the other side
Siam reiterates his promise of remembrance and gratitude to Darek's spirit.

Your bravery has not been in vain, I promise you my friend
Siam concludes with a final affirmation of Darek's sacrifice and his enduring legacy.
