Ooh, yeah yeah don't you know that, baby
Yeah, yeah, yeah

I got nothing up my sleeve
No rabbit in my hat
I’m here to tell you that I aim to please
No hidden bag of tricks no superstitious cat
It was your magic that knocked me to my knees

I, I just wanna make you feel good
(yeah, yeah, yeah)
I (oh I) , I just wanna make you feel good
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, baby

Ooh, awaiting your command
To hug and squeeze and kiss
I'll serve your every wish but, baby
Don't you tease my magic carpet ride
Is waiting by your door
I’ll give you so much more
Than you'll ever need

I, I just wanna make you feel good
(yeah, yeah, yeah, yеah)
I (oh I) , I just wanna make you feel good
Yeah, yeah, yеah, yeah, yeah yeah, baby

(Ooh, it's no secret)
Baby, it gets hard in the middle of the night
To keep my sanity (It's no secret)
Baby, it gets hard in the middle of the night
Don't ever take your love from me

I got nothing up my sleeve
No rabbit in my hat
I'm here to tell you that I aim to please
No hidden bag of tricks no superstitious cat
It was your magic that knocked me to my knees

I just satisfy your needs
Just rub your magic lamp
And presto-alakazam, I'll take the hurt away
Ooh, I can see it now our paradise is found
I hear your happy sounds
The words will always say

I (oh, I) just wanna make you feel good
(I just wanna make you feel good)
I (oh, baby, I) just wanna make you feel good
Early in the morning, when you call me

I (oh, I) just wanna make you feel good
(I got something for you, girl)
I (oh, baby) just wanna make you feel good

Open your eyes, I'll show you butterflies
I (oh, baby, I) just wanna make you feel good

This isn't 'Disco'. That was the 70's. This was prime 80's R&B/Electro-Funk, from one of the era's most under-appreciated groups. They kept me jamming while growing up, from the early to late eighties in Philly.

Captain Pawpaw

@Me yes exactly, they were the best with Kashif, Jimmy Jam Terry Lewis and some incredible producers of the 80s

Ted Hammond

Most people don't get it right. Without a doubt this is Electro-Funk at it's finest!

Post disco is boogie funk soul music

I was in NYC when these NYC productions came out; first single early summer ‘82 all over the boxes. It was all part of the early 80s post disco movement fusing various types of musics together in interesting ways in NYC, the incubator for house, rap, hip hop, electro, punk when the city was on fire late 70s-mid 80s. All those musics were synth/drum machine/sequencer driven. The beginnings of house were post disco clubs and radio mixes heard all over the city on the boxes. Philly and NJ were part of this cluster that was the center of the world, musically and otherwise. Watch the BBC documentary on the tube called once upon a time in New York for more. Terms like boogie developed later, in England, as a way to be able to categorize, but it’s not entirely accurate

I make you right... i think proto house is probably the fairest and most historically correct label. The System were streets ahead with their sound.
