1) Coming from La Habra, Ca, The Things were fronted by Steve Crabtree who wrote all the songs. They have released three albums "Coloured Heaven" (1984), "Outside My Window" (1986) and "The Things" (1988). Part of the L.A. Paisley movement, The Things reached their peak with the excellent album "Outside My Window" (Voxx) which was also released in France (Lolita) and Greece (Hitch Hyke). It has never been reissued on CD.
2) THE THINGS

@GingerTobyGames You need to read where Satan asked to sift Peter like wheat. It appears you do not know what the Devil is. God and the Devil talk to each other and the Devil is constantly challenging believers and eventually they fail and end up in the grave. Jesus says that anyone who believes in him will Never Die, but if they do die he will raise them up on the last day.
Jesus was not killed, he gave up his life and it should be the same for believers, but believers keep giving in to the Devil (De Vile One) aka SIN and thus they end up pushing up daisy's (end up in the grave. Saying, "The Devil Can Not Hold Me Down" only means that If You Follow The Holy Spirit Every Time For Your Whole Life You Will Live Forever And Never Die. Peter lie three times denying Jesus and even cursed to make his lies sound convincing. It was God who allowed the Devil to control Peter to do that so Jesus words to him would come true, "You Will Deny Me.."
Also you appear to not know what PROTECTION is. What protects is Truth, you hear the Truth and Obey or You Have No Protection. Hebrews chapter 10 states that If Believers After Receiving The Knowledge Of The Truth Keep On Willfully Sinning, There Is No More Sacrifice For their Sins But A Fearful Judgement.
Eve and Adam were told the Truth. Eve chose to believe the lie of the serpent, thus Eve lost her Protection because she let go of the Truth(God). Truth (True Knowledge) is what protects. God gives Truth (True Knowledge) and That Is What Protects. This is why Jesus warns "If the light (Truth) in you is Darkness (Lies), How great that Darkness will be to you." This is because people think God protects them but God does not because they have False Knowledge (Darkness) and think they have Light (True Knowledge). As the bible says, "Abraham believed what God said and it was Credited To Him As Righteousness."
