This takes Me back to a Huge Warehouse in Blackburn Jan 1990.......The Snow that fell that night was in Feet not inch's......So many that didn't make it stranded on the motorway in up to 3 foot snow driffs.......the speaker System they used that night was Huge to say the least.....Peace,Love,Music an Wisdom....and Many Happy Memories (R.I.P.) My friends who are no longer Here....Amen.

My house parties when I was in high school in the early 2000's played this and the crowd loved it. The DJ who was a student with me introduced House music to many students that didn't know these gems existed.

This was a great era for early house (or 'hip house' as some liked to call it). I bought this album (To The Batmobile, Let's Go) plus the one by Royal House which has a similar sound (also produced by Todd Terry), both on import (I'm in the UK). They were expensive for me at the time, but well worth it.

I did the same thing, plus some twelves, et cetera, lol.
I used to think TT's sound was being ripped off, albeit to a high standard, until I realised that Todd Terry, Orange Lemon, Royal House, Black Riot, Swan Lake & maybe, was it Jungle Brothers(?) was the same, incredibly talented dude.
One of my absolute favourite artists of the time, even now, I talked my missus into naming one of her two puggle dogs after one of his choons, "Yeeeaaaaah, BUDDY!", and that's how I call him over. 😄
Anyway, I'll be off back to the, back to the, back to the, back to the, back to the, back to the beat. 😎

@@juandeleon1975 The Cold War was winding down in the 80's when Gorbachev was introducing democratic reforms and the Berlin Wall fell that decade. The 80's and 90's were great decades before 9/11 ruined everything and made the world more paranoid and such. I was born in 86 but remember the 90's techno dances at my middle school in the mid to late 90's.
