Energetic, skinny, Cape Bretonian marsupials with grey furry ears and coats; feeds on burgers, KD, toast and PB and J. Songs: an honest approach to the trials and tribulations of life, taking into consideration small town values, coming of age, intriguing people encountered, friendship, hope and the various conflicts that arise from a jobless island and its steady outflow of people.
Although minimalist in terms of numbers, their sound is anything but that. Self described as “The most noise two Cape Bretoners can make”, that noise is a cascade or passion, urgency and belief in their songs.
The Town Heroes first CD, ‘This Way’, has received radio play across the Maritimes and a top five appearance on the East Coast Countdown.
After playing constantly throughout Nova Scotia for the last year, garnering accolades for their passionate, energetic live show, TTH released their second recording, 'Birds and Fear' in, May of 2010. A cross Canada tour is set to follow in the summer of ’10.
Note:
The Town Heroes are not "Town Heroes" or claiming to be heroes of any sort. The Town Heroes are paying homage to the small town, typically nicknamed, legends who have been a part of extraordinary or overly un-extraordinary events in their lives.

New York City
The Town Heroes Lyrics
I know the perfect place
But I can't afford the gas fare
There's buildings into space
And the faces never sleep there
I guess it's made of gold
Maybe we could steal a piece
Before we get to old
Maybe we could see it
There's room for you in New York City
We're playing for the door
But we're supposed to get a pitcher
If you buy me more
I'll take a mental picture
And put you in my books
My one of my many books
Looks like we're gonna be saved
He's wearing a business suit
Shaved and ready to take on the world
Are you ready to take on the world?
There's room for you in New York City
But I can't afford the gas fare
There's buildings into space
And the faces never sleep there
I guess it's made of gold
Maybe we could steal a piece
Before we get to old
Maybe we could see it
There's room for you in New York City
We're playing for the door
But we're supposed to get a pitcher
If you buy me more
I'll take a mental picture
And put you in my books
My one of my many books
Looks like we're gonna be saved
He's wearing a business suit
Shaved and ready to take on the world
Are you ready to take on the world?
There's room for you in New York City

Awesome work guys! Great tune by the boys and beautifully shot by Dillon. (The "he's wearing a business suit, shaved, and ready to take on the world," is all about me right?) Bahahha!!!

J'adore votre groupe que j'ai découvert lors du concert de MATT MAYS à Moncton (SEPT 2015) et vos vidéos sont vraiment très bonnes !

I felt happier after hearing this song on the Galaxy radio for the first time. Now I feel happier again after watching the video, especially after seeing that blue jacket and tiny guitar. I'm really surprised this video doesn't have more views, its a great tune and awesome video.
