The Twenties Lyrics

don’t stop this music
‘cause this is reggae music
don’t stop this music
O reggae é o som que pulsa no coração
Que me faz sentir a positiva vibração
Cantando sempre, irmãs e irmãos
O Reggae é o som que pulsa no coração
Que me faz sentir a positiva vibração
Dançando sempre, irmãs e irmãos
Cabeça erguida, oh lord
Oh, this is reggae music
don’t stop this music
‘cause this is reggae music
don’t stop this music
Oh, this is reggae music
don’t stop this music
‘cause this is reggae music
don’t stop this music

I was born in 1915 and the roaring 20s was the best decade of the 20th century. Despite the Spanish Flu, Stock market crash of 1929, and Hitler being the Fuhrer of the Nazi party, it was a great decade of technological achievement as well as the birth of Jazz music. I am 105 today and this music takes me back to my childhood days. Let us all bring back the 1920s in the 2020s decade. I encourage the youth today to promote Jazz music and silent films.

I'm a just-turned 18-year-old and I feel proud that our generation is liking this, I feel weirdly nostalgic listening to it. I came just for emersion for the book I'm trying to write, and now I feel like I'll be listening to this more, or at least have a new appreciation for it.
