From October 2002 onward, THE VELVET were very active. They released their first album and maxi-single and had many lives, including one-man lives and band-sponsored events. In December 2004, Reina departed from THE VELVET to start ADOLF; this left THE VELVET with only three official members, the original ones, and MiMi took over Reina's role of vocalist for lives. During this time there was also a live support bassist, Junzo, and the band nicknamed themselves 'THE VELVET STRIPPER'.
Between 2005 and 2008, THE VELVET were on hiatus, but this ended on March 5th of 2008, when MiMi, Bera, and Lem (and a support bassist, Chiro) brought a reborn THE VELVET to the music scene. Since then the members have been active with lives and releases, and did not take a downfall when the drummer Lem left in June 2009, instead to be replaced by a live support drummer, Mai.
As of 2011, MiMi has announced that while Chiro and Mai will continue to play support for the band, at times the support members will change from live to live.

She need an escape, she calling my name
I'm passed the distractions, you don't got my attention
I gotta go go go, I'm on the go go go
You'll never last, can't handle the pain
You stuck in the past, your future is lame
I'm passed the distractions, you don't got my attention
I gotta go go go, I'm on the go go go
Grab me the pan pan pan
Flick of the wrist, I got the sauce
Dance for the band band bands
First in command man man
Part of the brand brand brand
Eminem flow, Usain Bolt
Your groupie like Stan Stan Stan
Wait a minute
Got eyes from your bitch, cause I'm rich bitch
Rick James on these kids, they don't listen
Talk too much, I don't do bad business, I don't miss shit
Moving too fast, stay in your lane
She need an escape, she calling my name
I'm passed the distractions, you don't got my attention
I gotta go go go, I'm on the go go go
You'll never last, can't handle the pain
You stuck in the past, your future is lame
I'm passed the distractions, you don't got my attention
I gotta go go go, I'm on the go go go
They used to call me a clown
Who laughing now, you jokers should stay in your town
Gotham just gave me the crown
Bosses around, smiles been turning to frowns
Married the game got a gown
Ten on the ground, that is the way that I'm wound
Losing myself and I'm found
Dog Ima pound, find me a bone and she loud
High up y'all looking all like trolls, yeah
Cut ties blood under my ten toes, yeah
I got the belt yeah I'm going for ya gold, yeah
Stoning them they calling me stone cold, uh
Moving too fast, stay in your lane
She need an escape, she calling my name
I'm passed the distractions, you don't got my attention
I gotta go go go, I'm on the go go go
You'll never last, can't handle the pain
You stuck in the past, your future is lame
I'm passed the distractions, you don't got my attention
I gotta go go go, I'm on the go go go
The lyrics to "Go! Go! Go!" by The Velvet's convey a sense of urgency and determination, with the singer of the song emphasizing their need to keep moving forward and leave behind anything that could distract or hinder them. The opening lines, "Moving too fast, stay in your lane // She need an escape, she calling my name," suggest that the singer is aware of the speed at which they are progressing and is being pursued by someone who wants to join them on their journey.

In the second verse, the lyrics convey a sense of accomplishment and confidence. The mention of being "the man" and having the ability to effortlessly handle tasks ("Grab me the pan pan pan // Flick of the wrist, I got the sauce") suggests a high level of skill and mastery. The singer references being the first in command and part of a brand, suggesting a position of authority and success. The reference to an "Eminem flow, Usain Bolt" showcases a combination of lyrical prowess and speed.
