They began their career in 1991, cutting their first 7" record later that year with the lineup of Joey Vindictive (vocals), Johnny Personality (bass), Billy Blastoff (guitar), Dr. Bob (guitar), P.J. Parti (drums) and Erik Elsewhere (drums). The band would end up releasing 12 albums until July of 1996, when Joey Vindictive revealed that his health issues would prevent the band from going on. Luckily for him, he overcame his ailments to re-form the band in 2000, cutting a new album and overseeing the re-release of a significant part of their catalog. Dr. Bob died in 2003 due to a heroin overdose. Their song "The Invisible Man" was featured in the Ubisoft game Watch Dogs, where it attracted attention to restart the band once more in 2013, releasing a new EP titled Mono-Flexi, and to remaster most of their previous songs as Songbooks coming in volumes starting from I to III.
The Vindictives' website is currently down indefinitely.

Ooo-whee, do it one more time for me!
Ooo-whee, do it one more time for me!
Can't stop stop that girl there she goes again I really really love
To watch her watch her headbangin' Suzy is a headbanger
Her mother is a geek
Headbanging, Headbanging, Headbanging, Headbanging!
Headbanging, Headbanging, Headbanging
The Vindictives's cover of Ramones's Suzy Is A Headbanger is a fun and upbeat punk rock song that speaks about the band's admiration for a girl named Suzy. The song is all about Suzy's love for headbanging, which is the act of vigorously shaking one's head up and down to the beat of the music. The song expresses the band's desire to watch Suzy headbang over and over again. The lyrics mention that Suzy's mother is a geek, perhaps to highlight Suzy's rebellion against conventionality. The repetition of the phrase "Ooo-whee, do it one more time for me!" adds to the song's enthusiastic and catchy nature.
The song is a throwback to the punk rock scene of the 70s and 80s, which was known for its high-energy and rebellious spirit. It is a nod to the Ramones, who originally recorded the song. The song is a testament to the power of live music and the communal experience of a good concert. The song is also an ode to the freedom that comes with letting go and embracing the moment.
