Such a great story, it's so creepy. The scariest thing about the story for me was how at the end Washington Irving leaves the story open ended, he doesn't actually tell you for sure whether or not Ichabod was actually killed by the headless horseman or if Ichabod simply left in shame after his rival for Katrina played a prank on him, he makes the latter explanation for Ichabods disappearance seem like it's more likely yet keeps that seed of doubt alive making you question if the horseman was real.

I liked this due to the fact that it is a long  standing  piece of literature. But  that's about the end of it. I think I was expecting  something totally different.

that's what happens when you see the disjointed, rearranged plot, and just the wrong story in the theatres...sorry. just my guess, i'm probably wrong.
