The band was fronted by John Denney with his brother Dix on guitar, bassist Dave Trout, drummer Nickey "Beat" Alexander and another guitarist Cliff Roman. They were originally an art-rock band formed in 1976, and were featured in a news article featuring punk rock groups in Time magazine and so it stuck. They had a very strong D.I.Y. ethic. They dressed in anything they could get their hands on; bags, straps, chains, etc. David Horvitz is noted as having calling the band's fashion "Changes quicker than a cheetah."

They broke up in 1981, but reunited at various times, including to record the 1990 album Condor. A 2004 reunion includes in the band's lineup Circle Jerks bassist Zander Schloss.

By the end of this I had real, raw tears in my eyes. The story might've been corny, but the message was so important. I love the last few lines 'it's our differences that make us who we are'. Truly inspiring words that everyone should hear. I loved this so much because it not only talked about bullying in school, but cyberbullying, body-shaming and so much more. The actors and actresses were amazing too, a real refresher from Dhar Man lol!

If someone punches you in the face and you punch back, that doesn’t make you as bad as the person who punched you first since context matters. Sure, you can argue that retaliating like this is not “right” but stating that it makes you “just as bad” simply erases the entire context of the situation and implies that the entire thing happens in a void or something.I feel like this just puts the victim in an even worse situation as it puts unnecessary responsibility on their shoulders: “don’t do anything to help yourself or else you will be just as awful as your bullies! I think the message is to show that many people who bully, have experienced “the world” bullying them, leading to them only knowing negativity and unkind things; bullying. I’m not stating bullying is ok/justifiable; it’s always in the “wrong” with no excuses. Let's be honest, the redemption arc only happens in fiction. The problem with bullies is that they believe that what they are doing is not wrong because they have a feeling of superiority over the victim and they believe that, since they are superior, they can treat others however they want. Although in an ideal world it would develop as in this video, the reality is that it is not like that because it seems to be very difficult for people to make self-criticism. It must also be emphasized that not all bullies have a bad situation at home, what's more, the vast majority are like this because they were raised in cradles of gold that has raised their ego more than it should.

I used to be bullied all the time when I was in high school. They kept bullying me over and over and when I busted this one guy open with this chain I had in my pocket, they left me alone and never bullied me again. Just like I've heard some people say before, be careful what you wish for because it just may come true.

The way this ended when they all became friends, would definitely not in that way where I live.

unfortunately schools are like this. My best friend got horribly bullied so bad because of her weight she had to drop out. It’s pretty disgusting when people bully you so bad that you have to leave. Idc what ur going through don’t fat shame people. Because people can’t help how they weigh and not there fault. And it can cause suicide.

Very good movie. Schools should take bullying, a whole lot more serious and not ignore it. Kids should be able to get their education, and enjoy school activities, without being victimized or harassed. It's why many kids are home schooled. If a kid keeps starting trouble with other kids or teachers, they should suspend them, then council them. Or if need be, expell them, and let the parents seek other venues, of behavioral therapy. Keep our kids safe from bullies.

And you have to understand that even though I agree that this level of bullying is unacceptable, child abuse and grief can literally destroy your mind, your heart, and your life. Many people say that they don't care what's going on in the bullies' lives. STOP! Here's the mistake, people! The death of a parent is 10,000X more painful than any pain a bully can give to a student. And child abuse violates the basic human rights that humans have gained since their birth. I, therefore, forgave the bullies along with Charlotte.

I hate bullies with a passion. I don't give a rat's butt if they change later in life. That's surface change. Their core ugliness definitely still remains intact.

I speak from specific experiences of being bullied. My bullies aged and became more fake and conveniently forgetful of the pain they caused.

But the karmic retribution I found out about in some of their lives delighted me much deep inside.

I think that this is a good reminder that every single person has a battle going on in their life. It's just that they hide it. You don't know what they come home to or what they deal with. When I was in Junior high there was this girl that always picked on me. I didn't understand why i was her target. Sometimes i was mean right back, until one day she started being nice and then we became friends. Time went on and one day she told me "The reason I picked on you is because I saw you at the store with your parents and i felt really upset" (Her parents were in trouble and being checked into by the police. She even had police raides come to her house and tearing the place apart looking for drugs because, there had been selling of drugs there. Her home life had become really difficult and jealous because i had two parents that were good parents. It made her really really jealous and angy that i could have that and she couldn't. So, sometimes when you get to the route to why people act in one way or another you might not know the whole story

I wish every moment of everyone’s suffering and the bullying ends like this everyone deserves a chance not everyone is as strong but they need the will or someone to show them the will to continue like this. School can be rough I was never really bullied beside I was 5’7” I was short in school but it weighed. I was pretty well known and good with everyone in school but I never let bullying happen I always stepped in. Bullying is not okay this just shows everyone has their share of pain you don’t know anyone’s life or anyones story so moral of my speach is be kind to everyone don’t be that person you don’t know what they are going through.
