Throughout the band's history, members have regularly been replaced, with the only constant member being the band's founder, singer and guitarist Ginger. Several band members have appeared in the line-up more than once. The band has also been split up or placed on hiatus by Ginger multiple times. In the 2010s, the band convened occasionally for various anniversary tours. A 2018 anniversary tour by the band's 1995 lineup led to a return to the studio. They released a new album in 2019 after a ten-year hiatus. Their most recent album, 21st Century Love Songs, was released in September 2021.

Let's Go
The Wildhearts Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
To the freaks that crawl
Into sight when the night falls
Going out to you
It's a shout to do that do
'Til you can’t do it any more
I believe it's a good time calling
I believe that they're calling out
Specifically for me
Let's go
Let's go
Let's go
Let's go
You're getting by
You're weak, too shy to speak
Too high for sleeping
It's time to lose your mind
You'd better get out now
If you're thinking of leaving
I believe it's a good time calling
I believe it's a good time calling
And I'll dance like Jack Palance
With every chance I get
Let's go
Let's go
Let's go
Let's go
Let's go
Why don't you just climb on?
Why don't you just climb on?
Why don't you just climb on?
Why don't you just climb on?
Why don't you just climb on?
Why don't you just climb on?
Why don't you just climb on?
Why don't you just climb on?
Why don't you just climb
Let's go
Let's go
Let's go
Let's go
Let's go
Let's go
Let's go
Let's go
Let's go
The Wildhearts's song "Let's Go" is an anthem for all the people who enjoy going out at night and living life to the fullest. The song addresses those who heed the call, the freaks that crawl into sight when the night falls, and invites them to join in the fun. To those who feel too weak, too shy to speak, or too high for sleeping, it's time to let loose and lose your mind. The lyrics evoke a sense of urgency, encouraging people to seize the moment while they still can.
The chorus is the song's rallying cry, urging everyone to join in and let go of their inhibitions. The repeated phrase "Let's go" is like a mantra, a reminder to live life to the fullest and embrace the chaos. The song's bridge features the line, "I'll dance like Jack Palance with every chance I get," a reference to the actor's flamboyant performance during the Academy Awards in 1992. The comparison to Palance's wild and uninhibited dance is a perfect encapsulation of the song's message.
Overall, "Let's Go" is an energetic and upbeat song that embodies the spirit of living life to the fullest. It encourages listeners to forget their worries and join in the fun, reminding us that we should make the most of every moment we have.
