Help!
The Yellow Subs Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Help, I need somebody,
Help, not just anybody,
Help, you know I need someone, help.

When I was younger, so much younger than today,
I never needed anybody's help in anyway.
And now these days are gone, I'm not so self assured,
Now I find I've changed my mind and opened up the doors.

Help me if you can, I'm feeling down
And I do appreciate you being round.
Help me, get my feet back on the ground,
Won't you please, please help me.

And now my life has changed in oh so many ways,
My independence seems to vanish in the haze.
But every now and then I feel so insecure,
I know that I just need you like I've never done before.

Help me if you can, I'm feeling down
And I do appreciate you being round.
Help me, get my feet back on the ground,
Won't you please, please help me.

When I was younger, so much younger than today,
I never needed anybody's help in any way.
But now these days are gone, I'm not so self assured,
Now I find I've changed my mind and opened up the doors.

Help me if you can, I'm feeling down
And I do appreciate you being round.

Help me, get my feet back on the ground,
Won't you please, please help me, help me, help me, oh.

Overall Meaning

The Yellow Subs’ song “Help!” is a plea for assistance from someone who is feeling lost and insecure. The singer begins by stating that he needs somebody to help him, not just anybody, but someone who knows that he needs assistance. He then reflects on his younger days, when he never thought he would need anyone's help, but as he has grown older, he has realized that independence doesn't guarantee happiness.

The singer is now feeling down and insecure, and he regards the person he is addressing as the only one who can get him back on his feet. He is asking the person to be there for him and to help him through his struggles. The singer recognizes that his life has changed in many ways, and he no longer feels as self-assured as he once did.

The song is a heartfelt plea that touches on themes of vulnerability, dependency, and the need for human connection. It is an honest portrayal of the many ways in which life can be difficult, and the importance of having someone by your side to help you through the challenges.

It’s unlikely that someone on Fiverr will know how to do everything you need
- edit clips
- schedule posts
- create thumbnails
- rank videos
- etc

And do all of it at an affordable rate.

Plus those people want to work for themselves. Best way I’ve found is to build an internal team that works for you.

But Fiverr is definitely a better than nothing.

Very good video. Just to add, you don’t need a second layer of text to change the color of “key words“ Just select the word(s), tap on style and choose. You’re welcome.

Dee Greene

I’m uploading a tutorial today on how to do that. Will be up in about an hour 😎

GetIntoTheBLACK

I like keeping the words separate so I can easily change the color if I need to. Do you have to highlight and stuff again if I decide to change the color later?

Dee Greene

No you actually don’t need to make another layer at all. It’s pretty simple. You just select the text and then change the color and make sure you deselect “apply to all”

Arsalan's Gaming

No, to synchronize the voice and the words with changing colors it's necessary to make another layer. You don't understand this phenomenon

@Viviendo en Maryland | Priscila Daguer you’re welcome.
