Just the two of us.

And what have you done
Another year over
And a new one just begun
And so this is Christmas
I hope you have fun
The near and the dear one
(A very Merry Christmas)
(And a Happy New Year)
(Let's hope it's a good one)
(Without any fear)
And so this is Christmas
For weak and for strong
For rich and the poor ones
The world is so wrong
And so happy Christmas
For black and for white
For yellow and red one
Let's stop all the fight
(A very Merry Christmas)
(And a Happy New Year)
(Let's hope it's a good one)
(Without any fear)
And so this is Christmas
And what have we done
Another year over
And a new one just begun
And so happy Christmas
I hope you have fun
The near and the dear one
Thee old and thee young
The song 'So This Is Christmas' by Thomas Berge is a cover of John Lennon's famous Christmas song 'Happy Xmas (War Is Over).' The lyrics of this song convey a message of hope and peace during the Christmas season. The opening lines of the song 'So this is Christmas, and what have you done? Another year over, and a new one just begun' suggest that Christmas is a time to reflect on the year gone by and look forward to the future. The artist encourages listeners to enjoy the holiday season with their loved ones, irrespective of their age, race or status.
The verse 'And so this is Christmas, for weak and for strong, for rich and the poor ones, the world is so wrong' highlights the social and economic disparities that exist in society. The song encourages people to come together and spread love and harmony, instead of fighting and creating further divides. The lyrics 'For black and for white, for yellow and red one, let's stop all the fight' convey a powerful message of racial harmony and unity, urging people to put aside their differences and work towards a better future.
Overall, 'So This Is Christmas' is a touching song that encourages people to reflect on the true meaning of the season and celebrate the diversity of humanity.
