The band, also featuring vocalist Ted Leonard (Enchant), began through an internet ad placed by Harris. After Michael and Ted spent quite some time crafting the material, they then united with the rhythm section of Haji's Kitchen (formerly on Shrapnel Records) and Outworld keyboardist Bobby Williamson to form "Thought Chamber". This group is all about songs and musicianship, with styles ranging from metal to jazz to classical tinged prog.
The debut CD is entitled "Angular Perceptions", which the band has secured a deal for with InsideOut Music, and was released on April 3, 2007 worldwide. The band is presently working on their follow up record.
Psykerion: The Question
Thought Chamber Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Scaling through forever, but fearing fate nor form
The place we seek of which we speak will justify our cause
But the question remains...
With all circuits active we enter spiral realm
Now encapsulated; protected by our shell
A human seed should we succeed will save our entity
Eyes unyielding through a cosmic sea
World of conquest; furthest degree
Fate upon us; spirit reborn
To reach Psykerion
Rapid is our descent; burning through the atmosphere
Blinded by prismatic light approaching us so near
Quadrant three trajectory a treacherous travail
Eyes unyielding through a cosmic sea
World of conquest; furthest degree
Fate upon us; spirit reborn
To reach Psykerion; this land beyond the sun
In Thought Chamber's song Psykerion: The Question, the lyrics describe a group of individuals that are on a quest to find a place they speak of that will justify their cause. They are unafraid of fate or form but their biorhythms are racing as they scale through a violent storm. Once they enter the spiral realm, they are encapsulated and protected by their shell but they still share the same goal - to save their entity which will be a human seed. As they descend and are blinded by prismatic light, they approach quadrant three trajectory which is a treacherous travail. However, they remain unfazed because they have their eyes set on reaching Psykerion. This is a land beyond the sun where their fate will be reborn and they will be able to reach the furthest degree of conquest.
The lyrics of The Question contains a lot of science fiction metaphors and imagery which are common in progressive metal music. The song is likely to inspire the listeners and encourage them to seek their goals despite any obstacles they may encounter. The lyrics also seem to hint at the idea that the journey towards achieving one's goal is more important than the end result itself, as the individuals in the song are united by a shared purpose and remain resilient in the face of adversity.

Almost every modern album with a vocalist that sings in key,is melodic and has a big range, always gets posts from cookie monster/kermit the frog 90's/emo winers lovers saying bad vocals. Now if i see those posts i can bet the guy can actually sing. We would have a different and more talented scene if that demented thought pattern would dissapear. now try kermit and sing an alternative song, there you go..nailed half the popular american bands, throw in some cookie monster for metal.
Peter Varga
Don't tell me that he is the son of Robert Plant .

THIS BAND FUCKING SMOKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! why do we get shitnot, and the litany (a tedious recital or repetitive series) of grunts and what the fuck every they call it today. kookie monster or just the attempt to sound as god awful as possible. I do like a gutter growl not saying that.. but you get my meaning.... This is real music, we need a radio channel for this. And I swear if you say XM liquid metal ill beat you. That shit is what im talking about, . And we cant have OZZY classic rockers, and Hair Nation is just a goddamn joke..same 4 songs on a loop... anyway.. Fantastic music!!!!!!!!!

Music is not a competition, folks. I don't get why people find it necessary to compare bands. Haken are brilliant, but this stuff is pretty damn good too. So what? As to Ted Leonard's vocals, Nontheistdavid, you're fully entitled to your opinion, but the guy is the lead vocalist of three bands, the other two being Enchant and the utterly brilliant Spocks Beard. A horrid voice? In Spocks Beard? Hmmm, I think not.
