No Culture
Tim Tim Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Like multicolours of the rainbow
So it flashes through my eyes
I tell you life is a wonder piece of art
But the must is subconcious
You can choose the way to live
Let no one tell you how to live your life, ye-hi-ye-hi-yea

There is no culture like the one
That makes you feel the way you wanna be
There is no culture like the one
That makes you feel the way you wanna be

Look up down to yourself now
What a pretty thing to see
Why shouldn´t you live the way you wanna live
You can wear raster-dreadlocks
You can be a preacher man
Can even live anywhere around the world, ye-hi-ye-hi-yea

But the must is subconcious.

You can choose the way to live,
Let no one tell you how to live your life, ye-hi-ye-hi-yea

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Tim Tim's song "No Culture" celebrate individuality and encourage people to live life on their own terms. The opening lines liken life to a beautiful work of art, but it is ultimately up to the individual to choose how they want to experience it. The singer seems to reject the notion that there is one "correct" way to live or one culture that should be followed.

The chorus is the main refrain of the song, repeating the idea that there is no culture quite like the one that allows you to be true to yourself. The singer encourages listeners to embrace their own unique identities and preferences, rather than trying to fit into someone else's mold.

The bridge of the song highlights the beauty of self-discovery and self-expression. The singer notes that when you look at yourself, it is a "pretty thing to see," and that there are many different ways to live and be happy. The message throughout the song is clear - you should never let anyone else define who you are or tell you how to live your life.

Magical Thinking is survival reactions to "something appearing out of nowhere", a reflex that precedes emotions and the eventual sifting of remembered experiences into categories for graduated Intuitive, quick responses. Stress-relieving Humour and Religion is on the spectrum that makes Sciencing Re-search practices normal. (?)

So you know the proper way to respond to this conversation in Australia, "well you wouldn't know if your ass was on fire", is pure empathy..

If you are stuck helplessly in a typical human heirachy, (aren't we all), names are everything that matters, or the so-called legal system would not exist.

Tim's idea of Religion, (which could be seen as the serious side of humour), dealing with Cognitive Dissonance (often by simply living in denial) is worthy of an Honourary Degre in Neuroscience. Take the "religion" label off teaching, and "There's your problem" with education about anything.

Australia don't be like... innately predatory humanity whose love of dominance is now exceeded by the power of the weapons they hoard to protect the hate industries.

In this Universe made of time making time, superposition is instantaneous, along a line-of-sight measure of relative-timing that is the apparent physical substance associated with, "it's always NOW", Zero Kelvin, and the geometrical Centre of Time. (Not only Gravity and actual Logic. Everything that isn't No-thing = space)

Very interesting. Thank you.

He could have Tim on every other week, I wouldn't complain. It's always such a useful conversation between these two👍

Piano Dentist

If someone wants a musical, creative, fun and informative introduction into sceptical thought, I recommend watching Tim's 9 min beat poem called "Storm".
It's still my favourite piece by Tim all these years' later... which says something given Tim's excellent performances over the years'.

"I might be musical comedy's Einstein, but musical comedy and physics are very different magisteria; one is slightly more impactful on the world."

"Yeah. But I hope one day physics will become just as impactful."

Ha! Killer exchange. Had a good chuckle there.

Tim Minchin is easily one of the greatest artists of our time. A genius musically and comedically. I hope to see him on more podcasts, this was brilliant!

Calm down.
As a musician, he's very funny.
As a comedian, he plays the piano great.
