Who's playing Janet in this cast? I really like her voice.

I saw this show at the Roxy and it was phenomenal. I was excited when I heard they were making a movie. I was disappointed when I saw it. The biggest disappointment was Janet. The film chose an actress not a singer. Tim and a few of the original cast were good but I couldn't get into it. I was never able to voice my opinion since it became such a huge hit with cult status. Hearing it again here I stand by my opinion. The band was also more in front it was definitely rocking. Thanks for posting.

+Tina Tika -- We saw the Roxy show as well. 7 times. All your observations are spot-on and well stated. Thank you.

I heard this version before seeing the movie and it kind of hurt it for me. Ive grown to appreciate it, but this is the definitive version to me.

Am I the only one who thinks this girl sounds like Alice Ripley?

Susan's vocals on the movie soundtrack has forever ruined the casting for future Janets. They all think it should be sung in a weak whisper voice instead of this full throated Pat Benatar rock sound. Brava to you Abigail.

I definitely prefer Susan in Over at the Frankenstein Place, but this version absolutely sounds better than the movie
