1. Time was a rock band from ex-Yugoslavia that was formed in 1971 in Zagreb, Croatia, by Dado Topić (vocals), after leaving his previous band Korni Grupa.
The original lineup consisted of Topić, Tihomir Pop Asanović (organ), Vedran Božić (guitar), Mario Mavrin (bass), Ratko Divjak (drums), and Brane Lambert Živković (piano and flute). Time frequently changed lineup, and after three albums and many tours disbanded in late 1977. Topić embarked on a solo career.
In 1998 and 2001 Time reunited to play a limited number of live concerts, and still play together as a rock trio.
Time played a style of progressive rock with some jazz influences, perhaps similar to musical notions expressed by Genesis or Steely Dan. The first album, Time I (1972), had prominent Hammond organ, piano, and flute. Time II (1975) had a harder sound and included several ballads, while the third album, Život u čizmama s visokom petom (1976), was a turn towards more jazz-funk production style.
2. Time was an art-rock band with a strong British slant, holding a middle ground between the psychedelic 1967 Pepper field and the cerebral excursions of the early prog era. In 1967 Lynn David Newton formed formed the group, originally calling it Time. Later they were known as Think Dog!. As Time they released only one album Before There Was... in 1968.
3. Time is a solo rapper/emcee from Denver, Colorado. He is the front man for the group Calm. with producer AwareNess. Time has toured all over the world and worked with the likes of Sole, C-Rayz Walz, and Kool Keith.
4. Time was an Italo-disco group, best known for the single "Love Is the Reason".
5. Time is the name of the solo side project of Chris Ryan of Black Congress.

Svuda oko nas
I lagano brodi
Kroz poluprazan bar
Lica sva u znoju
Oči suzne, zašto, tko to zna
Svatko svoju tugu
Jer tad je sretniji na čas
Tu nam je dom
Tu je za nas pravi raj
I brige što nas more
Ne smiju prijeći ovaj prag
Jer mi smo k′o mornari
Mi sretnim morem
Vodimo naš brod
I sve do zore pjevamo
Alkohol je kralj
Mi smo leptiri
Nas privlači ovaj cvijet
što cvate u časi
Bio crven ili bijel'
Njegov sok nas hrani
I za život snagu daje nam
Pije se do kraja
Jer kroz dno od čase
Vidi se jedan lijepši svijet
Svi su ga znali
Još je jučer bio živ
Mnoge su noći proveli
U baru s njim
Sad je u grobu
Vječno počiva u miru svom
Za njegovu dušu
Sa časama u ruci svi viču
"Alkohol je kriv"
The lyrics to "Kralj alkohol" by Time speak about the culture of bars and drinking. The opening lines describe a smoky bar filled with cigarette smoke and people drowning their sorrows in alcohol. The chorus then proclaims that alcohol is king and compares those who imbibe it to sailors navigating the sea, singing all night until the early morning hours. The song continues with a description of the seductive power of alcohol, likening its lure to a flower in bloom. The final verse turns somber as the singer reflects on the death of someone who spent many a night in a bar, leading to him being buried with glasses in his hand and mourners yelling "Alcohol is to blame" for his passing.
The song appears to be both a celebration and a critique of drinking culture, acknowledging the temporary happiness and camaraderie it can bring while also hinting at its darker consequences. The repeated assertion that "alcohol is king" seems like an ironic commentary on how easily people can be sucked into a cycle of addiction and dependence, with their health and well-being suffering as a result. The final verse drives the song's ambivalence home, emphasizing the tragedy of losing someone to alcohol but also offering a faint whiff of defiance by refusing to let the drink be blamed entirely for their demise.
Overall, "Kralj alkohol" is a poignant reflection on the joys and pitfalls of alcohol use, urging its listeners to enjoy its pleasures in moderation and be aware of its potentially destructive power.

Dim cigareta lebdi
The smoke from cigarettes is floating in the air
Svuda oko nas
It's all around us
I lagano brodi
And it's slowly drifting
Kroz poluprazan bar
Through a half-empty bar
Lica sva u znoju
Faces covered in sweat
Oči suzne, zašto, tko to zna
Eyes filled with tears, for reasons unknown
Svatko svoju tugu
Everyone has their own sorrow
S punom časom dijeli
And shares it over a full glass
Jer tad je sretniji na čas
Because for a moment, they are happier
Tu nam je dom
This is our home
Tu je za nas pravi raj
This is a true paradise for us
I brige što nas more
And the worries that plague us
Ne smiju prijeći ovaj prag
Cannot cross this threshold
Jer mi smo k′o mornari
Because we are like sailors
Mi sretnim morem
We sail on happy seas
Vodimo naš brod
We guide our ship
I sve do zore pjevamo
And sing until sunrise
Alkohol je kralj
Alcohol is the king
Mi smo leptiri
We are butterflies
Nas privlači ovaj cvijet
This flower attracts us
što cvate u časi
That blossoms in a glass
Bio crven ili bijel'
Whether red or white
Njegov sok nas hrani
Its juice nourishes us
I za život snagu daje nam
And gives us strength for life
Pije se do kraja
It's drank until the end
Jer kroz dno od čase
Because through the bottom of the glass
Vidi se jedan lijepši svijet
A more beautiful world is seen
Svi su ga znali
Everyone knew him
Još je jučer bio živ
He was alive just yesterday
Mnoge su noći proveli
Many nights were spent
U baru s njim
In the bar with him
Sad je u grobu
Now he's in the grave
Vječno počiva u miru svom
Resting in eternal peace
Za njegovu dušu
For his soul

Najbolji ex yu album svih vremena....Maja je potpuno u pravu, veliki iskorak u exyu musici tog vremena, naravno i ekipa muzicara je sjajna, mozda prva i jedina top postava...
@branislavstojancevic9118
