Timur Mucuraev Lyrics

Overall Meaning

The song "Милые зеленые глаза" (Milie zelenye glaza) by Timur Mucuraev is a powerful and emotional ballad that captures the intense longing of a person for their loved one, who is far away. The lyrics start with the singer being alone in a room, looking at the stars through a window, and asking the person they love to also look at them. The singer talks about their separation, how they miss each other, and their strong bond.

The chorus repeats the lines "Milie zelenye glaza, a v glazakh zhemchuzhina sleza" (Beautiful green eyes, and a teardrop in the eyes), emphasizing the emotional pain of separation and how the singer cannot forget the eyes of their loved one. The singer then asks the person they love to come and tell them about their journey to find each other again, and how they waited for each other.

The melody and the lyrics perfectly complement each other, creating a powerful and emotional experience for the listener. The song is a great example of Mucuraev's talent as a songwriter and performer, as he has the ability to evoke deep emotions in the listener.

Thank you for the English lyrics. Timur’s songs are too beautiful to not be appreciated internationally

translation is really bad. I'm glad that you are happy even with this translation.

@@nnm2440 The person who translated this knows my language much better than I know theirs. Can't help but appreciate that

@@lewisjones284 I understand you but... You know I feel almost physical pain when i see this kind of translation. He translates the song but he loses the soul of the song because of bad translation.

I love Timur Mucuraev, his songs and voice breaking my heart.

Timur's voice is so unique. His slightly raspy vocal tone makes me think of a man who knows that he's smoking his last ever cigarette. Fitting, considering the subject matter of many of his songs.

@hemo6360

But, have you ever thought that you are smoking your last cigarette.?! But it is so. He sings about you. Who doesn't think this song is about him)),. N-no. It's about you.
This is about all of us who do not understand that tomorrow, after the strange changes in our lives (which Macron superficially said), global changes will come.
A heat mushroom similar to Hiroshima or Nagasaki may grow somewhere. But. these are just toponyms. Which don't necessarily have to mean anything. Only the places where the nuclear warheads will land...
What do you want?!)

@ProbotX-eo5ln

It's a sad and beautiful song!
Timur is a real masterpiece.
