El Pito
Tinyo RD Lyrics

Tinyo rd
Metiendome por la red

Fiscales me tiran su veredicto
Que yo soy un rapon
Desde que taba carajito
Repito
Coji la calle desde menolsito
Y me crie en una esquina
Vendiendo y matando pito
Me tire pa agora mall
Me subi en el ascensor
Y cuando prendi mi pito
Comenzo a salir el olor
Mujeres que ivan pasando
Me miraban con amor

Porque yo tenia los ojos
Como de otro color

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Tinyo RD's "El Pito" are a reflection of his life experiences and how he was raised in the streets selling drugs and fighting. The opening line "Metiéndome por la red" indicates that he is getting deeper into the drug game and the next lines "Fiscales me tiran su veredicto, que yo soy un rapón" show that he has been labeled a criminal by the authorities. He then goes on to say that he has been in the streets since he was a child and he grew up selling and killing "pito". "Pito" is a slang term for marijuana in the Dominican Republic.

The second verse talks about his present situation where he has made it to the agora mall, a high-end shopping mall in Santo Domingo. He gets into the elevator and lights up his "pito" and the smell immediately fills the elevator. The women passing by look at him with desire because of his eyes which he describes as being of a different color. This line could mean that he has taken some drugs that have altered his perception, making his eyes look different or it could be a metaphor for seeing things differently from others.
