It feels so hard to try.
It becomes incredibly challenging to make an effort.

Can't you see the unrest?
Can't you observe the social and political unrest?

Getting kicked in the streets for protesting?
People are facing violence for expressing their dissent through protests.

The dissent and unhappiness:
The disagreement and lack of contentment:

Getting disappeared just for speaking.
People are being forcefully silenced and disappearing for voicing their opinions.

All the fires are spreading
Metaphorical fires of chaos and destruction are escalating.

And the floods sweep away what's left behind.
The metaphorical floods wash away any remnants of stability.

But we're told to keep quiet –
Society expects us to remain silent and passive.

I just can't hold in what's on my mind.
I cannot suppress or keep my thoughts and feelings concealed.

I can't see past the noise,
I am unable to see through the chaos and distractions.

I wish I was as blind.
I wish I could be ignorant of the problems and troubles.

I wish I didn't care,
I wish I could be indifferent and apathetic.

I wish I didn't mind.
I wish I could overlook and disregard everything.

It's no use claiming ignorance:
Pretending to be unaware of the issues is ineffective.

You won't move on if you don't try.
Progress and change cannot happen without making an effort.

I wish I was a better optimist,
I desire to have a more positive outlook on life.

But in these times I can't accept the lies.
During this period, I cannot tolerate the deceit and falsehoods.

I know it isn't easy,
I understand that it's challenging.

But I don't want to look back with despair.
I don't want to reflect on the past with hopelessness.

We need actions not promises.
We require tangible actions, not mere words.

We just all need to show that we can care.
We simply need to demonstrate our compassion and concern.

We'll keep struggling on, even though it's tough.
We will continue to persevere despite the difficulties.

We're the real ones in charge: we'll say when it's enough.
We hold the true power and authority; we will decide when to stop.

I want to be proven wrong, I don't just want to complain,
I desire to discover evidence that contradicts my doubts, not just vent my frustrations.

Before it's too late I want to see we can change.
I wish to witness a transformation before it becomes irreversible.

Just look at everything around us that's falling down:
Take a moment to observe the deterioration and collapse.

We cannot just smile and walk by.
We cannot simply pretend everything is fine and ignore the issues.

There is no second chance to put all this right,
We don't have another opportunity to correct these problems.

This is our chance to try.
