Before founding "Tok Tok Tok", Tokunbo Akinro and Morten Klein, the creative and organizing heart of the band, worked together in various other projects. Their musical search for melodic beauty associated with groove and soul led them to find their completing parts in each other. Like on "Ruby soul" from 2002, they continue to concentrate on the song qualities of their acoustic soul compositions. The CDs "It took so long" and "About" speak for themselves.
Christian Flohr - double bass:
Christian is the bass player with double- and electric- bass. The absence of drums (except Morten Kleins mouth drums) offer them the opportunity to exhibit timing and lyrical musicality in their bass playing.
Jens Gebel - fender rhodes:
Jens is a multi instrumentalist. He is a very sensitive musician and it seems as if he never did any other thing than playing the rhodes at Tok Tok Tok. Keep on flying with his harmonies
