The band released one more studio album, Victory Day, and a Symphonic live album, The Symphony Sessions, before Tom Cochrane left the group to pursue a solo career. Members of Red Rider continued to play on his solo albums but Ken Greer did not.
In 2002, Tom Cochrane reunited with Red Rider, and they recorded two new tracks for Trapeze, a greatest hits compilation that includes material both from Red Rider and Tom Cochrane's solo career. They then recorded a new album, No Stranger, although the album was released under Tom Cochrane, not Tom Cochrane and Red Rider, perhaps to capitalize on the success of Tom Cochrane's solo career.
The style between Red Rider, Tom Cochrane & Red Rider, and Tom Cochrane music is very similar musically and lyrically, and Tom Cochrane was the strongest creative force behind Red Rider (thus their name change to Tom Cochrane & Red Rider), so it is arguable that there is any difference between each 'group'.
No Regrets

I see my fate written upon it
I'm checkin' out the back here
Where my race is not run
Might hear a thousand harps of heaven
Rain down upon her
I can't stand and watch
While you stand accused
We got no regrets
Might have seen better times
But maybe we ain't been there yet
Remember the good times
And least you forget
Have no regrets
Sometimes you might find
Like you feel that you're drowning
Run for cover like some blown out fuse
Remember one thing that you filed that number
You can call me up baby you won't be refused
Have no regrets
Might have seen better times
But maybe we ain't been there yet
Remember the good times and least you forget
Have no regrets
After all the shit you know we've been through it
There ain't a shovel big enough in the world
That can move it
We got no regrets
Might have seen better times
But maybe we ain't been there yet
Remember who you are don't you forget
Have no regrets
Have no regrets
In Tom Cochrane's song "No Regrets", the singer is walking alongside a road and sees their fate written upon it. They are reflecting on their life and acknowledging that they have not yet finished their race. They mention the possibility of hearing the "thousand harps of heaven" raining down, but they cannot stand idly by while someone else takes blame. Despite this, they emphasize the importance of having no regrets, even if they may have experienced better times or difficult situations in their past. The singer reminds listeners to hold onto memories of good times and to not lose sight of who they are.
Overall, the song encourages living life to the fullest and accepting the past as it is. It recognizes that although there may have been ups and downs, it is important to look at life with a sense of positivity and move forward without regret.

I can't stand and watch
I cannot just stand and observe

We got no regrets
We do not have any remorse
Might have seen better times
