Ashes
Tom Leeb Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Everywhere, I seem to go to you
Appear from nowhere and I just walk through
Good old times
Same old storyline

I don't know if memories ever last
But with the years I'm falling through cutting glass
I chase you
I sure do and all you have to do is

Say my name darling
Say my name if you believe in us
Say my name darling
Say my name if you believe in us

And I'll be alright
'Cause I don't know where to go to, where to go to
Every word seems to fall, seems to fall
And now we burn into ashes
That I'm sure

You come and go but never stay
Guess I should lock my heart instead
Oh love, shades of grey

We're gone in circles back again
I try to see clear in the mess that I've made of you
It's all I do and all you have to do is

Say my name darling
Say my name if you believe in us
Say my name darling
Say my name if you believe in us

And I'll be just fine
'Cause I don't know where to go to, where to go to
Every word seems to fall, seems to fall
And now we burn into ashes
That I'm sure

We've come as far as it goes
So far ain't so good but you never know
I hate to call you beautiful
But it's all you are

Say my name darling
Say my name if you believe in us

'Cause I don't know where to go to, where to go to
Every word seems to fall, seems to fall
And now we burn into ashes
We burn into ashes

We're on Fire
Watch our hearts go burning
We're on Fire
Watch our hearts go burning

We're on Fire
Watch our hearts go burning
