He moved to Nashville, TN in 2017 to continue his music career . He has worked on the production and sound development of top-selling artist, NF. In recent years, he has also worked in Film & TV music.He has secured placements for: 24, Legacy, Quantico, The Good Doctor, Concussion, NFL, TYR Sport, and others. He has won one Dove Award and been nominated for three.
Profitt has worked with NF. The two met in Michigan while NF was starting out as rapper and Tommee was transitioning from being a full-time artist to a producer. Profitt signed his publishing deal with Capitol CMG Publishing in 2014, the same year that NF signed to Capitol Christian Music Group as an artist. They have continued to be frequent collaborators, with Tommee collaborating on the writing and production on all three of NF’s full - length releases that have been released under Capitol CMG.The first album, Mansion, debuted at #1 on the Christian Album’s chart at peaked at #22 on the Billboard Album’s chart. The second album, Therapy Session, also debuted at #1 on the Christian Albums Chart and peaked at #7 on the Billboard Albums Chart. NF’s third Studio Album, Perception, debuted at #1 overall on the Billboard Album’s Chart.

Other collaborations include Britt Nicole, Colton Dixon, Nicole Nordeman, and Blanca among others
