1. A French Electronic music producer (now named Tommy '86), very inspired by 80's music such as synth-wave, synth-pop, new-wave, italo-disco, and other related genres. He started to make music in mid-2011, but produced his first synthwave tracks only at the beginning of 2012. After listening to a track of College he had the idea to do this kind of music. His first synth-wave productions had enough feedback to encourage him to continue. Tommy has released a few singles, three EP, one LP and some remixes, for other synth-wave artists such as Awkoder, Protector 101, Future Feelings and Gossip Culture. He also released three other remixes for three more established electronic artists: Kavinsky, Lifelike and Sébastien Tellier. "Getting high" is one of the four remixes chosen by Lifelike & Popular Computer themselves and has been released on their own Computer Science label.
2. Pop-punk band from Ukiah, CA with a penchant for gang vocals. Comprised of: Tim Parks - Guitar, Vocals; Christian Freeman - Drums; Luke Slinkert - Vox, Guitar and Chad Goodin - Bass, Vocals and signed to independent label Bound By The Black Rag records. They kick it.
3. Songwriter, Tommy Donald Colin from Belgium writes his songs, his words and composes his arrangements on his own, creating a sensitive sound directed towards melody, giving a positive energy while remaining cool. Then he leaves his roots, folk, rock, oriental or still electro, and surrounds himself with his musicians Dominique Djian (keys), Olivier Duck Calmeyn (bass) and Benoit Fix Derycke (drums) with whom a genuine band spirit has arisen.
4. Tommy is a 4 piece rock band that originated in Beijing. All 4 met as expats living overseas and formed in early 2005. Members include Joe Bissell (guitar, vocals), David Su (drums), Mitchell Marecki (bass), Chris Suderman (Keyboards, backing vocals). Their style involves extensive jams, fusing of many genres into rock (suck as jazz, and even Indian melodies), and unorthodox stage shows. Tommy has recently had an offer to sign to a record label in Beijing which they had to refuse due to legal complications.
5. Tommy from New Zealand brings together the moods of reggae, rock, soul and a dash of pop in a melodic melting pot to form their 'folk roots' sound. Comfortably sitting alongside the adult contemporary music of Jack Johnson and the John Butler Trio, Tommy's sound is rooted in soothing melodies and flowing piano lines which meld in an organic blend that is unmistakably from Aotearoa.
6. There is also a duo comprised of Carrie Brownstein and Lois Maffeo called Tommy, and they've only recorded a song called "Go Sonics".
7. A Norwegian guitarist and vocalist. Is a guitarist in the famous Norwegian folkrock band, PLUMBO.
8. Another project by Hayden Anhedönia (Ethel Cain).

by Tommy Boi
Staying up late chillin' in your room
Talking 'bout the future like it was me and you
You talked so big like you had big plans
Why'd you throw it all away?
I'll never forget that long drive home
After you said what you needed to say
You have no idea how deep this goes
You say you're protecting me
But I know you know
That's a lie
What happened to compromise?
You left me here and I
I'm still wondering why
You never called back
I still need you
And now I'm just lost like a map with
No direction cause you never called back
All I hear is silence
Now I'm just broken
Like a shattered piece of glass cause
You never called back
Obviously, I wasn't too important
Could've taken 5 minutes to let me know
That at least you cared that I was all broken
But I guess that was just too much to ask
That's a lie
What happened to compromise?
You left me here and I
I'm still wondering why won’t you tell me why
You never called back
I still need you
And now I'm just lost like a map with
No direction cause you never called back
All I hear is silence
Now I'm just broken
Like a shattered piece of glass cause
You never called back
I'm tryna break through this anxiety
But a part of you still got a hold on me
How do I forgive somebody that never really Ever even asked to be
I'm tryna break through this anxiety
But a part of you still got a hold on me
Now how I forgive somebody that never Really ever even asked to be
'Cause you never called back
I still need you
And now I'm just lost like a map with
No direction cause you never called back
All I hear is silence
Now I'm just broken
Like a shattered piece of glass cause
You never called back
The lyrics of "You Never Called Back" by Tommy Boi depict the emotional turmoil and heartache experienced after being seemingly abandoned by someone who was once significant in the singer's life. The song begins with a nostalgic reflection on shared moments in the expanse of nights spent discussing dreams and the future in intimate settings. The contrast between the hopeful tone of planning a future together and the eventual sense of betrayal and abandonment sets the emotional stage for the rest of the song.
The second paragraph delves into the aftermath of a crucial conversation, likely a breakup, that left the singer feeling deeply hurt and confused. The lack of closure and communication from the other person is a recurring theme, highlighted by the repeated refrain of "You never called back." This rejection and silence contribute to the singer's feeling of being lost and broken, emphasized by the metaphor of feeling like a shattered piece of glass.
The third paragraph shifts to a desperate plea for acknowledgment and understanding from the person who walked away. The singer struggles with feelings of anxiety and being tethered to the past, unable to move forward without resolution. The sense of unresolved emotions and the desire for closure come through strongly, as the singer grapples with the need to forgive someone who never expressed remorse or understanding for their actions.
The final lines of the song reinforce the enduring impact of being left in the dark, with the absence of a simple call back symbolizing a deeper emotional void and lack of compassion from the other person. The repeated refrain underscores the lingering pain and sense of incompleteness that comes from being abandoned without explanation. In essence, "You Never Called Back" captures the raw vulnerability and longing for closure that accompanies being ghosted or discarded by someone once cherished.

to all those people being bullied
to all those people who have lost a loved one
to all those people who have lost a pet
to all those people being abused
to all those people going through depression
to all those people with anxiety
to all those people in poverty
to all those people going through a breakup
to all those people having a bad day
to all those people with insecurities
to all those people just having a hard time, Don't forget
your weakness today
is your strength tomorrow
it always gets better
your loved ones will remain in your hearts
you always have the memories
love yourself
stand up for yourself
money can't buy happiness
those lovers
just weren't right
don't abuse yourself
don't abuse others
kill them with kindness
treat people with kindness
we have all had these times
there will always be a hole in our chests
but
let's all be each others' strength
Neither you're

Christian
Atheist

love yourself
love others
don't cut
don't kill
don't criticize
don't beg
don't do drugs
don't starve yourself
don't starve others
We aren't supposed to do any of that
just keep your strength
keep your faith
don't change because you were told to
be yourself.

I don’t know what wrong with my body . Sometimes I just laying in my bed and listen to music and I start to have a heavy stone in my chest . I don’t know where my sadness come from I don’t feel excited for anything . I always feel like my soul is not in my body . I always sad without any reason , hard to breath and always feel tried about life .

i used to be like that all the time. sometimes I still am. the only thing that got me through was God. Only Jesus got me through that. I don't know if you're religious or not, but I just wanted to give you some encouragement. Jesus loves you so because of that, we can take His always outstretched hand and see the wonders of life, even all the little things. If you aren't a believer, take the chance to get to know Him. His unfailing love is the only thing that really brings life. He's the only one who will never fail us, never leave, never not call back. Hope this encourages you! much love and support from NY. :) also, know that through all the trials of life, whenever we are held to the fire as you are right now, it is to strengthen us, to refine us. He has great plans for you!
