The first good fusion was also the first single. Tomy Or Zox have released "My Desire" in 1998 under the label "Mantra vibes". The single with the markable "Na na na na na" line was perhaps not very well produced, but the vocal line was definitely very "hooky". The people liked it and the single was popular in many states including Spain, Netherlands, Russia, Mexico and it was included in several compiltions which sold more than 600.000 copies. Definitely a good start. Along with the single there was a video in the "Tomy Or Zox style".
The success gave the duo a boost in many fields. They were performing around Europe, working in the studios with some good producers and writing new stuff. So, they were improving their skills of authors and producers. The next step was "Don't you know me", a dance single that (on some performances in Russia) featured a famous Russian dance artist called Natasha. But, as Tomy or Zox function best in the "house" field they have decided to enter even more seriously in this music style. The product of this music voyage is the new single "Music makes me happy" that features the known "strange" vocal line, a good sample and a good house groove. Ingredients that are important in today's house music. Like the rest of the duo's music "Music makes me happy" is a combination of Tomy's feeling for a good groove and Zox's innovative approach to the vocal line. They both write music and vocals, depending on who has the idea for a music base or a vocal line. Sometimes their plans and ideas come through and sometimes they don't, for they are always looking for ideas that have something special. A special vocal line or a music trick. Fortunately, this ideas then capture the audience. They do all their work in their own studio named 'Studio 2', that is located in Izola, Slovenia.
